FFOF in conjuction with FF nutes question

Picked up the three FF nutrients and the feeding chart. The question I have is more or less: FFOF supposedly has ~a month of nutrients in it, this feeding chart says to start using Big Bloom right off the bat (seeds & cuttings) and to add Grow Big at week 2. Does anyone know if this schedule takes into account the nutrients already in the FFOF soil?

i uses FFOF soil, and i dont add nutes till about 2 weeks after transplant..i would imagine their feeding chart would take into account the nutes in the soil, but you never know. i usually use 3 tsp grow big, and 3 tblspn big bloom to a gal of r/o water for my mothers.

i dont know if im gonna use FFOF anymore tho, ive noticed the quality of their soil go down the past few year, and ive heard that they buy soil from other companies to keep up with demand...last bag i bought had white flys all up in that bitch.

I like to go with a half half FFOF and FF ligh warrior mix. I only veg for 4-5 weeks so I dont even use Grow Big, I use big bloom because its great for the soil, I use tiger bloom sparingly in flower, and bloombastic instead of the soluble line, has worked great for me. I like to put as littlle in the soil as possible to prevent salt build up and nute burn or lockout. Good luck however you grow man!

Sounds like a good question for their 1-800 number. I don't add nutes til a few weeks after transplanting into ocean forest. Then again I'm cheap and big bloom is pretty lite stuff so it probably wouldn't hurt.

I grow with OF and Happy Frog and never had to use nutes until the flowering cycle and I veg for 3-4 weeks.
But I heard people get great results with Miracl Gro.

I use the ocean forest and the nute trio pack and have never used the chart. What works for me, and this is strictly my opinion, is to start out with 1/2 a dose of what the bottle says of grow big a month after planting along with a 1/4 dose of big bloom. I use this the first couple of feedings then bumb the grow big up to a full dose, but keep the big bloom at 1/2 dose. I use both during veg. After I switch the light cycle to 12/12 I start full doses of tiger bloom and still 1/2 dose of big bloom. Just for added umph I throw in some bud candy every other feeding. This has worked wonders for me.
