Yep get it into a paper cup or similar no nuts for at least 2 weeks. Use a spray bottle with water only to feed it then into a pot with nutes

I drop mine right in final container. In FFOF. Plain no ph water until you add nutrients. Don’t waste the time or energy transplanting. They grow fine in 5 gallon pots.
Do u germinate the auto seeds before dropping them. And the nutes in the FFOF soil is not to much for them ?

I drop the seed right from the bag into the soil. No water no soak. I used to do all that. But once you stop doing all that and just drop them. You realize you’re doing too much.

Do not ph your water and you will be fine. Plain tap water only until your plant starts using bottom leaves up. It should be close to a month depending on pot size/plant size etc.

The soil already has buffers in it right from the bag. Plus the soil is a little hot. When I ph it burned the shit out of my plants. 4 weeks maybe? Depending on your light and pot size.
I have done my research and this is first time I heard this way. But I like it. Can u go into more detail What nutes do u use ? Is there a need for calmag ? And if u cud put together a quick weekly cheat sheet to help me out on my first grow I Wud be extremely grateful. If I’m asking too much then just answering questions is pretty cool

Is that cuz happy frog is better. Should I use whole medium of happy frog. Or is FFOF better for long run with autos
Happy frog is lighter on nutes. Which overloading seedlings on especially a auto is a bad thing.

Once the plant gets big enough to handle alot of nutes it will have made it to the ffof underneath.

Than
You could. But you would be having to add nutrients much sooner. Basically alot more work to do something the second layer of soil could do for you.
Thanks man. Lots of help. So with you suggested mix 75% FFOF and top layer 25% happy frog Shud the bout some extra perlite in aswell And I will have soil left over. How long it stay good for. And is this a good schedule to follow with your soil mix
