Mixing soils and things aren’t my thing. If I can’t use it right out of the bag I don’t buy it. Would would you mess with someone’s soil ratios? They designed it.

That schedule gives you a general idea of how to adjust your nutrients. What I can tell you from experience is not to go off a chart on when to add nutrients. If it’s a month then it’s a month. Adding nutrients even in small doses when the soil already has nutrients will still cause lockouts.
A TDS meter will help with that checking run off. Or you can give plain water until you see signs the plant is ready.

Both of those soils are pretty complete. I've never added extra perlite to them.
Yea that schedule is ok. After week 4 begin shifting to your nutrient specific schedule at 25% of reccomended values and slowly increase with each feeding.

Because the soil has buffers in it.

The soil is buffered to control pH. Many things you will use to pH water will destroy the buffers.

And wha will ec read for nutes needed and nutes not needed? Are the Vivosun pens any good on amazon
