FFOF Soil

Hey guys i was wondering if anyone else had a problem with actually soaking the soil for the first time..
Everytime i have used this stuff, the water literally drained right through it keeping the soil as dry as it was in the bag.. I had to mix it up and soak it a bunch of times to get a consistent dampness to the soil before i could plant or transplant.

Have same problem with FF seedling mix. Usualy place the soil in the jiffy pots and place in a bowl to water for first time. You could always plug the holes in your pot to let it soak for a moment.

use a wetting agent. im sure they use peat moss and it repels water when its dry.

Ahh yea didnt think about letting it just soak for a while.
