First time grower here, haven't got to the growing process, but i'm almost done with my Filing Cabinet Stealth box..
So, here's where im at right now, so far everything has gone very very smooth, im currently looking for ideas on how to make the box light proof, the only areas leaking like are the cracks between the cabinet doors and the fans.
Fans - i think im going to just run a few inches of ducting tube, 6", just lay it over the fans from the outside..
Doors - I was thinking about laying some magnet strip over the cracks, easy lay on /pull off thing, makes shift light seal..
OPEN ANY SUGGESTIONS!!
The top of the box, by lights, those flaps fold down, incase i need some downward reflectionnnnn..
I was lucky enough my electronics store had some cheap fans that can be powered via usb, so getting two of those and some usb travelers adapter made power the fans easy.. light will plug directly into the surge protector aswell, so one cable should power the entire box..
I was going to make the light adjustable, but it would be easier and more efficient to just move the plant itself, it was save some space for the entire box leaving the lights stationary..
as for the panels/mylar, i just pulled it over a few cardboard pieces, keeps things nice and clean. It also allows me to take them down according to what area im working on!! or fin something need be replaced etc..
