Final Stages of flowering question....

Harvested last night CP..... got 10 big ones... I weighed the largest, wet weight of course, and it was just over 5 oz..... ton of smaller buds from the bottom for butter... I'd guess 1.5 oz of those... wet again... what do you figure the average weight loss after dry and cure is?? has to be a pretty substantial percentage I would guess

quick update... bought a decent scale today and after 2 days of drying my wet weight stands at 14.1 ounces... noticed a huge difference just by holding them... I'm guessing the original weight was well over a pound

btw.... the 14.1 didnt include a pretty generous amount of much smaller buds... just the 10 main ones

Wow, just the main colas. If they are pulled between weeks 7-9 they will dry out at 22%. If pulled weeks 10-12, they will dry at around 25-27%. A good way to calculate your dry weight from wet weight would be to take your total wet 'gram' count and multiply it by whatever percent 22% is .22 and 25% is .25. ...............Keep in mind that a true ounce is 28.349 grams. Therefore if you have 14.1 ounces wet your calculation would be as follows: 14.1 x 28.349= 399.72 grams (wet). Then you take that 399.72 x .25 (25%)=99.93 grams (dry) .....that 99.93 grams divided by 28.349=3.53 dry ounces. This is based on just your tops at a wet weight of 14.1 ounces. That's not bad at all considering that that is only the tops.
