I've gone through countless cheap pump sprayers over the years that I use for pesticides in the garden. I needed a 2nd sprayer for organic non toxic pesticides to use in flower. Never use the same container for both organic non toxic pesticides and poisonous pesticides. Never. I bought a 5l vivo sun branded unit off amazon that works pretty nicely, but I find I often have to refill it once before I fully cover the garden. Not a big deal or anything, but larger capacity would be nicer. I sometimes have trouble getting the gasket to properly seal on the pump portion of the unit. A little readjustment fixes it up right quick, but it is annoying.
I scoured the web and looked at many different sprayers. I didn't want to spend $100+ for a dam sprayer. This is for indoor use only and it's not as if I spray pesticide all the time, so it's not going to be beat up on a daily basis or anything like that. $40 was my max budget. I found this sweet Dewalt branded 2 gallon pump sprayer for $34.99 at home depot. I returned a cheaper HDX (home depot brand) sprayer that was horribly designed. It made it out of the box and went right back in. Picked up the Dewalt that was highly reviewed and I couldn't be more satisfied with my choice. Metal wand, multiple different spray nozzle attachments, 3 year warranty, and my god is this thing a pleasure to use. If you've ever battled shitty cheap sprayers in the past dealing with pressure loss, poor quality nozzles, poor quality threaded connectors, and cheap plastic components that easily break you will fall in love with this sprayer. All I want out of my pump sprayer is the same dam thing I want out of my car: I just want the dam thing to work and work well. Nothing more. Nothing less. Anyways if anyone is in need of a new pump sprayer do yourself a favor and checkout the Dewalt. I must say it is very plush.
