Thanks! So do your heaters run 24/7? I would hate the idea of a 500 w device running 24/7 with my crazy expensive power costs here on the Long Island
New York gets boned bad . We provide an insane amount of the power that fuels NYC , yet we get shit on , and receive the highest rates in the country .. I live on the st Lawrence seaway - and between the hydro power , and hundreds of thousands of acres of wind farms - you’d think we would get a break , but unfortunately - northern NY gets the shaft ..

anyways , I’d trigger it to maintain a temperature - off the ac infinity controller . That way it’s not running 24/7 . Mine only runs on extremely cold days and nights - today it’s 3 degrees .. it’s been going all day, but for 6 hours , it’ll be off , during lights out

I run temps at 85 and a 1.1 vdp on the humidity box from aci. I throttle back to 75 degrees at night and the vdp setting monitors and changes RH automatically. The amount of time the box runs is very dependant on my basement temps and on the settings of the duct fan. In the app you can monitor the on off time by looking at the history track. It will show you where the aci thermoforge setting was running. By moving the history grid and watching trends. If you have a duct fan on cycle the trace will show up on the data

If the heater blows heat in where does the displaced air go?
I expect out of the tent if the extraction fan isn't on?

Blowing into a static space without enough airflow I'd expect it to cause over heating problems, I'm sure smarter people than me designed it what am I missing?

I don't think your missing a thing.
I run my vent fan at a constant velocity and the heater and humidifier at set targets. Since my room temp is only 4 degrees below tent temp the heater only comes on briefly after opening the tent door. The humidifier cycles on and off to maintain humidity level.
