Finally got a ph meter, now what?

After using ph drops and never testing my soil ph, I finally got a bluelab soil ph meter - can be used for liquids too.

My tap water is at 7-7.3

I ph after mixing nutes to 6.4

Run off out the pot is at 6

Soil ph is at 5.3-5.7

One strain, c99 looks like shit- a learning experience.

Others look much better but still not really healthy.

I've never had these numbers available to me before.
Only the colour drops to ph with.

What ph should I be watering at w nutes if my soil is at 5.3-5.7?

Any links would be greatly appreciated so I can educate myself.

to answer the q in the thread name, well, measure your ph levels

Ph water to something like 7.2 and see if you can bring your soil up a couple pts.

Ok that's what I was thinking but had to ask first.
Really good to get these numbers instantly. Man those drops are a time killer.
