Finally set up the way I want "The Church" and "TSS" *PICS*

hey, i talked to you a while ago downonwax about chruch i was growing, and its looking really good! took a while for me to get the hang of hydro, but now that i got it and its out of stress, i've let her veg and she's doing really well! i am going to do some clones soon and wanted to flower my first church, do you have any stats you can provide me

did she grow / stretch a lot during flowering?
how long do clones need to be vegged with this strain to produce maybe 5 oz of dried bud (assume hydro if you have done it or just let me know with soil)
will 1 carbon filter cover the smell as much as i need?
any particulars about this strain that are important when harvesting / curing / drying?

Thanks, look back to hearing! Subscription!

Well if anyone saw my earlier post about how my computer was dying then you probably realize that it finally did!

But now I just forked out a cool grand for a nice new HP and should be updating with some new pics and my final grow/ smoke report.

The last TSS is still in flower and today marks day 102 of flowering.

I am caught up with making a good movie with for both strains so stay tuned now that I have a comp that works :)

If you look through the grow journal then you can get an idea of how the Church grew during flowering. It does not stretch hardly at all and stays fairly short.

As far as the smell, she is a stinky one and and will smell up the house. Depending on how many plants you are growing then 1 good carbon filter should help with the smell.

Do a search for Church smoke/ grow report and I have a whole "Life of the Plant" slideshow there :)

That is awesome!!!

well, my baby is not so much a baby anymore but a foot or a little over tall and getting bushy. should i wait to flower or will she get to tall? I am only growing 1 of her, and will take 2 clones before flowering to keep the genetics.

I would let her veg till you see pistils. I always let all my plants show sex before putting them into flower.

I just think you will get better results that way :)

OK Ladies and gents, I have to say I love having this new computer and it is sooo easy to load pics!

I will also be doing a full smoke report with life of the plant pics and hopefully a movie I have been dicking around with :)

So, without further ado, here is my final update for the 2 Thai Super Skunk plants :)

These bitches took quite awhile, with my last plant being chopped at day 104 of flowering. In all honesty, it could have gone farther but I usually harvest my plants with 20-25% amber trich's.

This plant was a trip to grow from beginning to end and I really enjoyed it.
The Thai Super Skunk is just a Big, Juicy Sativa! It has a great daytime high and it will actually keep you up at night. I would not reccomend this strain for a sleep aid!

Tons of trich's and big buds that are not dense but are just really, really thick and resinous. The smell is crazy, like pine/ citrus/ caramel :)

The only flaw that I think this strain has is that it is soooo damned leafy! It grows set after set of fan leaves and pistils and can be kind of a bitch to manicure. The leaves dry up and get sucked into the plant but after curing they fall off. I would still suggest anyone who grows this strain to pluck those bitches as soon as they turn yellow!!! My entire grow room floor is covered in leaves, honest to god I will take a pic of it!

All in all it was fun, get's me high as a kite, and the seeds were free :) Not bad for free boys and girls :weed:

i cant wait for mine dow.
how long did it take to show sex?

They took about 55-60 days to show sex. Everything is slow about this plant but if you have the patience then it is well worth it in my opinion :)

Thanks for the kind words!
Yeah, sativas are fun but I doubt I will be growing any for a while. They just take some much time to develope, outdoors is certainly more ideal than indoors.

also, yield for a church if you have for clones that are vegged 3-4 vs. 5-8? Like is it worth growing this strain out into bigger plants or better as small but many?

I think you could probably do it either way. I usually grow out bushes just to get the most out of my seeds but lots of small plants would work well too.

do you know a yeild on the tss? mine is 9-10 weeks in flower. very nice looking finish

hows it goin dow?
what was wet weight of the tss

I have not weighed any of the Thai Skunk plants but I am guestimating that each plant produced around 4-4.5 ozs. each :) Could be a little less because they are not dense, just thick.

All in all it is a good producer as long as you give it enough veg time.
