Finally starting my Garden!

They have puple stems and the first leaves are starting fade...... Pots are too wet what roots you have can't breath
Youre looking at the wrong pictures.

Youre looking at the ones that were in too hot of soil. Definitely NOT over watered.

Please dont post unless uve read the whole thread. I am fully aware of whats up w the first round or seedlings. Soil was just too hot - now ive started seedlings in nute and fert free soil- again, look at the pic ill REpost! Theyre doing awesome

Those are the ones....... And they're soaked.....

Stupid people learn from their own mistakes ....

Good luck

I think the pic may also make it look darker than it is. Stems arent dark at all, very nice green, and the soil today is nice n dry, i mean it was fresh soil that had just been watered not too long ago in pic. Is it such a sin to take a pic after watering and not have everyone assume its got too much water?

Hey guys just checked on my babies today because I added three new seedlings that sprouted to the grow room since these guys are doing so amazing, I definitely learned and switched up some great things in this second round. Theyre doing very well id say! And the other seedlings are on their way, all i basically did to the other three was added more pearlite to soil. So we will see if that helps significantly or not! Got 2 cfls, and 4 Cree 60w LED. All organic soil, added some pearlite.

Also -- i fed the two larger ones w some General Organics Root Booster about three days ago and they seemed to do well from it.

I could do 20/4 or 24/7 but I'm nervous about 24/7 with the space and heat..
I know I'm late to the conversation but I saw some research done on 24/0 vs 18/6 lighting. They found that running 24/0 wears the plants out after a few weeks and actually begins to decrease yield slightly. They said the leaf poors need time to rest or they become less effective. So the ultimate conclusion was in very short grows like a micro grow, 24/0 could be ok, but for a grow with a longer veg time, it just wasted electricity and hurt the plants health and vigor. I hope this helps someone who reads it.

Looking good. I hope the new babies yield well for you. :)

Im going to follow thos thread, im on week 3 of flowering my first grow. Make sure you let them dry out and get runoff when watering, especially when theyre bigger. Take a look at my journal, I went through issues as well. Itll be ok

Totally!! I let them dry completely from first watering and then just gave them their second one the other day w root booster! Glad i got extra pearlite!

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Okay so,

The two are growing nicely, are kind of on the droopy side though. Any thoughts? Probably got water like four days ago after having completely dry soil for a good cpl days before that. Nothing else has changed rly. No nutes in the soil yet, besides whatever is left over from the root booster a cpl waters back. The younger three are growing very nicely, so far no worries about them. The bigger one has just reached four nodes am I correct? So I should move up pots soon then... I have pearlite, organic soil, and zen blend organic soil. Any suggestions as to how I should mix the new pot of soil? I was just going to pearlite the bottom then mix the plain soil w the zen blend because the zen blend was too hot the first go around.
