Finding the Real PPM in Nutrients...

Okay my question is this , whats everyones opinion here..

I have hard water where I'm at, around 200-300 PPM..

If I mix my nutrients and test it for example and it reads 1500 PPM..am I really only getting 1200-1300 PPM of Good Nutrients or should I make it 1800 PPM taking in consideration that 200-300 is the hard water..

Note I understand I can filter my water and etc.. but just wanna know what peoples calculations are. THANKS

I go with the NUTRIENTS PLUS MY WATER...

so if I want the PPM to be 1500... and my nutrients are 1200 and my tap water is 300, then I have hit my mark...

1800 is insane...

i do the same as garden knowm (use the sum). i also use hardwater formula nutes.
