Finished my tent advice wanted

Alright so I've been reading online teks, forums, stickies, guides and even the medical Marijuana bible from front to back. After over 3 months of reading and asking questions I've completed my little hydroponic set up and tent as well as a germination/seedling area. So any input or advice is welcomed, here it is......

Germination/seedling closet

-2'x3'x6' mylar walled closet
-12"x18"x20" Tupperware humidifier
-analogue hygro/therm
-12" oscillating fan
-60w 450nm blue/6.5k white led on pulley

Grow room equipment

Tent
-2'x4'x6' mylar lined tent w/four 4" ports

Hydroponics
-Two 5 gallon buckets w/6" net baskets with 8" plant pots glued around them
-6" drip rings fed by a 70gph pump connected to a 30 min incrimant timer
-hydroton clay pellets

Lighting
-300w 6-band/ir/uv/12k lux LED
-150w 670nm red/450nm blue led

Venting and cooling
-5000btu a/c ducted to tent used as intake air
-4" inline exhaust fan w/controller leading to carbon filter
-12" oscillating fan
-2x4" clip on fans
-Two 25L capacity water chillers

Oxygen
-8lpm dual outlet air pump leading to two 2"x4" air stones

Meters
-pH meter with screw adjustment
-pH meter w/temp correction and 3 point dip and set calibration
-TDS meter w/temp correction
-watt/amp usage meter

Chemicals
-AN grow/bloom/micro
-fungicide
-pesticide
-pH 4 7 10 calibration solutions
-1000ppm calibration solution
-hygrozine root protector

That's pretty much what my set up consists of and I'm pretty happy with it. Right now with everything running I hit an average tent temp of 76*F with the lights on and an ambient temp of 80*F outside the tent. At lights off it goes down to about 65*F in the tent. Water reservoir temp is usually between 60-65*F. I have a negative tent pressure and I checked all the electrical and made sure to spread the heavy power using items between two circuits.

Took a lot of tinkering and playing around to get this exactly how I want it, but I think it's perfect. Any advice on things I mat have over looked is more than welcome tho

Lose the tent, lol

Is the tent to small you mean? Or like is that too much stuff for it?

I'm only wanting to grow two plants as I'm only growing for first and foremost the sake of growing as a fun activity and second as a way to be creative with my schooling in engineering.

Which is why a small tent like this has so many add ons its because, I like to tinker and build stuff. I have two years in engineering at university and another year in physics and calc. So for me a lot of the fun in doing this so far has been retrofitting things on to my tent. As well as drawing up drafts of different build ideas I come up with and eventually building them. I keep a notebook of calculations, notes, designs, ideas and drafts; which i find makes this way more mentally stimulating for me. I dont think id have as much fun if I didnt tinker and then make observations on something in the tent. Literally i can spend a solid 6 or 7 hours straight changing how i set things up and recording tent condition changes and not even notice the time go by. Also with a a smaller tent is easy for me add things to and have them give a desired effect.

I dunno I just want to get a tent to the best growing conditions I can for cannabis and then I'll he ready to grow

he is meaning it as a complement...........the depth u have gone too u might as well convert a room .....plus it is easier to main heat control
u might even think about sealing it up and using Co2

oh and edit ........done right the plant can go boom.......making near 2 lbs or more u want this in a large area makes it eaiser to work on

tents are for hiding and doing it small .....u have already done more work then most ppl that come here so tent would be a waste (unless for drying or staggering grows on a cycle in one area)

Oooh I see.... oops that went way over my head -_- thanks then for the compliment ! I tried to be as thorough as I possibly could and took a good three months to read set up teks and guides. Then another month or so tinkering around with everything to get the conditions I want in my tent.

As for why I'm using a tent, it's because I don't have the ability to dedicate a room to being a growroom and I need to be a bit covert. Looking back I kinda wish I hot a 3x3 tent but it's too late now. It's all good tho, a small tent that I can grow two yo three plants in that I can continually innovate on makes me really content.

When are you popping your seeds? Be interesting to watch your grow as you're doing such a thorough job

Seeds were pop'd on thursday actually. They are just beginning to peak out of the rock wool cubes and enter the seedling stage. I actually have something I want to be cleared up for me regarding the seedling stage and what the proper set up and conditions the seedlings should be under. I won't post it here but if you look in the noob forums you'll find my thread. If anyone could take a look and gimme just a quick idea of if I've got the right idea for how to care for seedlings it'd be super appreciated. I'll be starting a grow diary tomorrow so I'll post a link up once it's made.

Yea the veg and bloom stage I have nailed down as far as the growing conditions and knowing how to take care of the plants (2 years of organic Chem will come in handy ) but the seedling phase I'm a tad unsure of.

Well I managed to get up early today and first thing I did was work on my grow area! I want to redo the germination area. Mainly I'm wanted to change around the lighting because with the few plants I practiced with to get down germination I encountered trouble with stretching of seedlings and heat issues when using my led. So I'm mainly switching up the light set up. So this is my new set up in the closet.

Closet
-2'x3'x4' area with mylar lining on each wall
-humidity dome 12"x20"x8"
-12" oscillating fan proper up on 5 gallon bucket
Here's what's mainly changed:
Lighting
-2x florescent tubes (24", full spectrum, 900 lum each) attached to reflector hood 8" directly above cubes
-4x 42w 6500k cool white cfl's (2x on either side of length of humidity dome attached to sockets plugged into a PowerBar that will be taped onto an anchor to keep it in place); they'll be approx 4" from cubes

I really like my little 60w led but I just can't get it dialed in to the right height where the plants don't want to stretch and to where it's not making the plants get to hot so I think I'll do the seedling with cfl's they seem a little more forgiving. I probably still use the led as a supplimental light source, but keep it high up, I know because of the inverse square law it's not going deliver many lumens if it's high up. But hey I have it and it's not going to hurt right?

Going to go to the hardware store to grab lighting and stuff this afternoon, so any input of changes I should consider are welcome.
