Finishing area.

I have a hot flower room that stays around 80 to 85 in summer. I wish I could drop temps at the end. My buds arent swelling like they should normally at 60 degrees the last weeks. Ive been using frozen blocks of ice, but thats inconvenient. I was thinking of a finishing area, small to keep cold and dark the last days, and to dry/trim in.

I am planning on a basement room 6ft by 10ft with a 7foot ceiling 490sq ft. I am also going to insulate the shit so I can chill it. Im going to use 8 inch icebox with a closed loop chiller.

In a sad way Im ready for winter

I chucked a few plants in a dark cold corner of a basement for three days now and they swelled like mad with a 30 degree drop and ice water and darkness. Thats why I wanted to ask this. I don't want to restart that argument about the shock at the end, I just tried it and had to say something.

ive done the ice thing as well lol....didnt notice a real difference ive also taken my plants a few days early and put them in a different closet with no light and that seemed to make them swell a little and ripen nicely...could have been my imagination though
