Finishing In The Dark

anyone ever heard of when your plant finishes, putting it in a dark room for a week or so before u harvest it? i heard it works overtime in that darkness and comes out danker. any truth to this?

yes. ive got my 2 plants on its 4th day of darkness right now. 1 of which i am trying the "Drowning" method.
gonna harvest one tonite and leave the other one underwater for a couple more days.

There are techniques for leaving the plants in 24 or as much as 48hrs of darkness just before harvest but don't do it for a whole week.

Yes, I shut my lights down for 24 hrs. darkness than start the harvest. But Have alot of huge ass plants so some are it he dark longer that others. Works out great & the turn out i s awesome. :peace: Happy growing & in your case Happy Harvesting!

cool. when the next one finishes (3 weeks) im gonna leave it in the dark bedroom in the closet for over 24 hours. thanks for the advice : )

well i do several strains at a time, all on diffrent weeks of flowering. ill just drag the plant out as its completely done and let it sit in the dark room for a day and a half or so
