First Aero Garden Grow

This is not my first time growing, but it is on this scale. I'm using white

rhino clones that were made smaller than usual to try and accomodate

the lack of height. In the past i would veg for 3-5 days with rooted

clones, till they were 9-12 inches and would yield 3-3 1/2 ft colas w/

proper trimming. So this time I didnt veg but for 1 day and they were

about 3-5 inches when i put them in flowering, so hopefuly the will fit.

Right now they are in week 3 of flowering, the rhino in the past finished

late in the later part of 9 weeks.

Anyways I noticed everyone using the AG is only flowering 2-4 plants

and Im doing 7 and am wondering if Im gonna have root problems. Also I

purchased the upgrade light which puts out 4800 lumens and i was

wondering how buds turn out with such low light levels. Finally i was

looking at auto-flowering dwarf seeds online and was wonderin if anybody

had tried them with the AG. Sorry for the quality of the pics there off my phone.:weed: Oh im also using the cutting edge line of nuets anybody got feed back or advice?? How do i take pics with the lights on they always

come out over exposed!!!!!

Why wont anyone respond? Or view my post?? :joint:I dunno, if anyone does

read this I have a new question about LEDs, how many would I need, I

saw some spotlights that seem to offer both red and blue spectrum for

$100 a piece which is more practicle t(for me) than the $500 UFOs. Whats

nn or nano-something?

So going into week 4 now. :joint: The Tops are starting to get frosty and

they are starting to smell good. They seem to slow down growing

verticaly, I bent 1 to prevent it from burning and to level it with the

others. Out of the seven 3 are looking promising, 2 are not receiving

enough light and

2 were stunted i think. So I think next time Ill fall suit and do only 3 or

maybe 4. Check the new pics and Ill update next weekbongsmilie

hey i'm competely new to this and really don't know what i'm doin. i ghetto rigged an aeroponic garden using a rubber made tote box air pump and seeds that was in a sack. but it seems to be working well. 3 out of 6 are starting to sprout after 3 days. i'm using some floresent grow lights that i got from wally world.

my question is do the water have to be a certain temp and in what amount of time am i lookin at before i can smoke

i had them under the original AG hood which is 8 er so inches shorter and i kinda bent them stem in week two or so to fit it better under the light and to even em out. it developed a knuckle where i bent it. its kinda like crude training
i didnt know plants could get botulism though

the water should be around 65-70 colder will shock the plant and warmer will promote fungus. be sure to put a airstone in the resi especially if the roots er in the resivoir. depending on how much space u got how big you want em, takes 9 weeks (usually) to flower (bud) and depends how long u veg (grow) then drying.

wow gyspy you got a nice setup those look great, it look like instead of cloning the tops of the branches you did the bases was that to keep them shorter. know anything about leds im tryin to keep it simple no ventilation, low heat type lights. I got it in a 6x6x8 closet so temp is not really an issue.

Thanks!!!

Yeah! I wanted the small... each "normal sized" clone got chopped in 3...

The branches that grew were LST'd (low stress training) to the "ground" and then spiraled around the plants...

I love LEDs, as reading lights in my camper or my headlamp... not in my grow room...

HPS HPS HPS...

I will say a thousand times...

You want some kick ass buds????

Give your plants kick ass lights and ventilation...

Heat is not an issue?????? Geez man, throw a 1000 Watt HPS on that space... maybe even 2 600 watt HPS...

Nothing will give you better gram/watt ratio...

You can grow with CFLs and LEDs, but you are wasting money... the HPS is way more efficient...

If you really want to grow buds and will be doing more than once... just buy the right tools for the job...

I am running over 400 watts right now... on my 12 inch by 18 inch area...

I got a 100 watt MH, 2 x 70 watt HPS, 1 35 watt HPS and 10 x 26 watt CFLs...

The mail man is bringing a 600 watt HPS with a cool tube... to replace all that...

Dude... save yourself the 10 upgrades and just do it right... the first time...

My 2 cents, to be taken with large amounts of skepticism until you do your own research....

GO WITH WHAT YOU KNOW... it's always best...

Hope this helps....

it seems like the it's taking forever but i just started last friday so i'm bout 4 dayz in. how long should i wait before i need to add nuts to them. and should i leave the lights on 24/7 or should i just stick with 18/6

First off thanks for the advice gypsy I was a little too :eyesmoke: and mis said some things heat is an issue in that i dont have any where to vent hot air to. And I also have been busted in the past so i want a very simple descrete system. :-D

Week five does bring some kinda big and exciting changes though. First and foremost i enclosed the whole thing in an old book case. I also added another air stone to the resi, but the biggest changes are yet to arive.

I ordered the power cords to the AG lights (didnt have em at radio shack), and after doing alot (alot) of research on LEDs Im gonna give em a try:eek: All of which i should get the end of this week.:bigjoint:

My little girls look and smell lovely right now, their are so frosty and sticky. The buds are swelling slightly but as expected they need more light. But for what it is they look great!:blsmoke:

Lastly i found a magnifying glass and was playin around with it and the camera on my phone. Got a little carried away check the pics though!
