Use them for vegging .. Use a HPS for flowering .. or your wasting your time ,, you can buy a new HPS for under $100...

You don't want warm light for vegging. You want a bright daylight pectrum. Read some grow threads on the AG and you'll get the hang of it quickly.

cool thanks, right now i put the light i have on my plant so i have the aerogarden hood proped up on a book behind my aerogarden shining forward and the warm lamp over top. its in my closet in an open cabinet theres mylar on 3 sides that dont have light. i dont really have the money at the moment to get a new daylight bulb for the ficture i should be alright for a while i not optimal but itll still work until i get the right one right? i should be able to get some pics soon i think the setup isnt bad im just gonna keep adding lights and get em right

i put in the starter nutes from aerogarden its been 2 weeks, i used tap water prolly not a good idea when i changed the water there was a bunch of crud at the bottom. when i filled it back up i used distilled water and only used 1tsp of the nutrients for the gallon of water should i change the water again and use just water or would i be better starting over

heres some pics i did end up gettin a new bulb, can anyone see whats wrong with my plant though its not lookin too good. i did get fox farm nutes and started those today
You might reflect more light if you put another emergency blanket in there to cover the middle like you did on each side.

I use FF nutes. They are great and completely organic. Your plants will love it. Mix it up really good, let it set overnite and shake it again before you add any to your tank. NOTE> You'lll need to get a meter that measures ppm's. Use the FF feeding schedule but to start: 1/4 strength and increase to 1/2 strength 2nd week, then 100% until you get an adjusted 400ppm-600 ppm for early veg. Use bottled water ONLY for best results and top w/plain bottled water unless your ppm meter drops below your range. Then add more nute solution to raise it back up. When they get going, increase to 700-800 in heavy vegging. Flowering is 1000ppm-1100ppm (no higher or you'll burn them) and late flowering is back down to 400-500ppm. Dont forget to flush with something like CLEAREX the last few days for a chem free budd.

Most folks don't but: I CHANGE MY RES EVERY WEEK WHEN THEY GO INTO MATURE VEGGING & ALL THRU FLOWERING. I GET RID OF THE CRAP IN MY TANK AND CLEAN THE PUMP FILTER PULLINT OUT ANY ROOTS GROWING INTO THE PUMP HOUSING. IT KEEPS EVERYTHING RUNNING PROPERLY.

Sorry to be long winded....sativa

Hope this helps.
