Building a new box to sit in my closet. I'm limited to 2' deep, 4.5' wide, and about 4.5' high.

Dimensions
W = 48"
H = 48"
D = 24"

Construction
Sides - OSB Plywood
Frame - 2x3 studs (Studs inside of the box, limited to space in the closet, and I'm making a sub-floor to route hoses/wiring in the box resting on the studs on the bottom)
Lining - Paint with Killz to fight water absorption and mold formation, then cover in Mylar for more usable lumens.
Circulation - Custom carbon exhaust filter/fan setup. Passive intake? (Still not sure on my intake/exhaust setup)

Layout
Veg/Flowering will get a 3' wide x 4' tall x 2' deep area.
Clone/Veg will get a 1' wide x 2' deep x 2' tall sealed room on one side of the box.

Grow needs
Power - Black & Decker Power strip with Digital Timer (4 timed 4 constant)
Lighting - 8x 26w (100w) CFL bulbs & hood
Air - 4 Port 16 watt EcoPlus air pump
Grow Media - DWC 5 Gallon buckets, Start in rockwool then Netpots with Hydrocorn
Nutrient Support - General Hydroponics Trio (Grow Micro Bloom), Nutradip Trimeter (PPM, Temp, Missing PH Probe)
PH Support - Gen Hydro PH up and down, Milwaukee PH600 probe & Gen Hydro PH 7.0 solution
Seeds - Haven't picked a strain yet. Open for input (Sativas please, I need a buzz that keeps me busy!)

Technique
First official full hydro grow! I have two soil plants flowering now, one converted from soil to hydro, without a box in a closet right now. I have the materials, and the box is about half built. So this will be my first FULL grow with hydro start to finish. Planning to run hydro using ScrOG method with 2x 5 gallon DWC setups and no reservoir. I always have 10 gallons of water on standby in case something goes wrong with my nutrients. I haven't chosen a seed yet, but I was thinking about one of the Sativa packs from Greenhouse Seed Co. I'm new to the grow game, so I want to try a few different flavors to get my feet wet.

I wired up 4 light sockets, each will have a 'Y' splitter with 2 CFL's on each 'Y' making 4 pairs of a total 8 26w (100w) CFL's. The light sockets will be mounted to a board with a light hood around them. Then I'm making a pulley system using some thin braided steel cable I have so I can adjust the height of the lights.

I am building a small 1x2x2 clone/veg sealed box inside of the box off to one side. It should hold at least 6 decent size plants in veg to pick a strong one. Since the buckets are 14" tall, and I will ScrOG around 1', the clone box shouldn't interfere with the actual usable ScrOG space except for the buckets being slightly shifted over on the floor.

As far as my setup's size and power goes, I may upgrade to HID light. I know it's like night and day (lol) in comparison to CFL growing. I'm just concerned about using HID in my closet for a few reasons.
1 - Closets are enclosed, the box is enclosed in the closet, lights makes heat and heat makes fire. I like fires coming from my lighter, and that's it.
2 - The sound. I have people in and out of my room all the time and the air pump is enough noise for me. I live with 2 roommates with obviously know, but visitors are a different story. Also I heard about signal interference with lower end ballasts. Of course I want the best product, but I can't afford nor do I need the best. So where's the price/quality dropoff?
3 - Initial Cost/Power consumption. I rent from a friend who owns, so if I go HID on 24/0 veg coming from a few CFL's on 12/12 there will DEFINITELY be a power increase. He's already on my shit about the electric bill at the house, so until I buy my place in the next couple months I'm under his law.

I think that pretty much covers it. The only thing I still need to pick up is a hood for the light, but I was holding off because I'm probably going to end up making something custom anyways. Once the box is up I'll post pictures.

PLEASE add any questions/comments if you see a problem with this setup. As I said, it's my first real attempt at a box and hydro setup.

Seems good. im still new the game but from experience of my only failed grow DO NOT CHEAP OUT ON VENTILATION! U can cut corners everywhere else but the ventilation. Also i would put all of your wiring in the upper compartment so if there ever is a spill your ok. other than that, stuff seems good hopefully elders will cheer in soon.
