First attempt at growing in Coco under 1600w's....

i did the same after reading heaths post on his trees i put my light almost al the way down it was at least down 6 inches into the plants but i had a fan blow straight up on the bulb to make the heat go upwards and worked fine for me but plants were about 7 to 8 inches away from the bulb ,plants and had no probs with heat issues and also did wonders for lower buds in the masters description (heath ross) x for the lights and o for the plants whould be

get where i am going on the tree issue that is what i am going for on my next op i have 6 babies been vegging over a month now lst ing when the time is right i will purchase a 600 lumatek mh/hps
which will get an umbrella shaped hood and then plant my 400 hps right on the floor well one or two feet up so i can get a fan down there also this is in a 4x4 home made cupboard(looking at tent since so much lighter and easier to build and take down) also i am not sure but my friend offered a 1000w since he has extra but i am just worried about the extra wattage being consumed but then again it would be 1000 (4 and 6er) or 1400w(1000 and 4) i guess the 1400 would be more ideal . how much extra did you notice on electric bill when you added the extra 1000w er from b4 when were just using 6 er

pic update,week 4 yesterday...things are going sweet...counted over 50 colas today lol pics dont really do them justice as the colas all hangout once the tent is open and its hard to get far enough back now for a decent shot...bring on week 5!! peace

i dont have a 1000watter in the macrael....theres 2x 600w HPS and a 400w MH

textbook man little pots big plants lollipopped and topped for max yeild especially with your wattage, its going to be a bumper crop man, what nutes you got to pump for the boost? whats the feed like at the minute?

so is this a one off or you going to start a perpetual?

cheers don...there in 11 litre pots and im giving them 2litres a day, with roughly 20ml each of both A+B, 15ml of hydrozyme and 15ml of Canna Boost per 10litre of water!! just followed growell chart really, gonna start the PK next monday. Yes this is the start of a perpeptual, I have takin 20 cutting which are all rooted, only difference being a bigger tent next time (240x120) to which i'll add 1 more 600. cant wait

hi inked im scribed! and +rep. their looking awesome. just out of intrest how much do you water them now? i saw in a early post that you wasnt sure. the reason i ask is im in the same pots and the same medium. i use 1 litre a day. probably underwatered but i've had no probs whatsoever and it i find the more you water the higher the humidity! i already use a dehumidifier and its still at about 50-60%. i also have the same thing with my next grow! do i go like mblaze or throw a load of little ones in? let me know what you think. i think i may go with a few monsters! its easier to explain to a judge that 7 plants are yours. as opposed to 50! lol

lol i hear ya there bro....ive noticed that as they've got room to grow and enough light over them your plants will reward you (provided you veg them long enough). this grow was more of an experiment for me, i set out on my 1st grow with 7 plants to get 4oz+ per plant which i did. so i added more plants in the same sized area this time round to see if i could get the same results but because the light isnt penatrating them as much i can tell they wont yield as much allready, so in future i will have a bigger area and keep the numbers the same in aim to get 4oz+ but with 12 plants. in regards to the watering im giving them 2litres a day, skipping the odd day (when to hungover) lol
