First attempt need help with setup

Yeah I'm Looking like my local hydro store has a custom hood that measures 42x48.5, Going to run Hortiux Super Blue Hp Bulb, Phresh Filter, 5 gal smart Pots, Fox Farms Ocean Forest Potting Soil. And I'm thinking of just going down the line with Fox Farms. Only thing I have to order now is a 1k Ballast and some inline fans.

Thinking a hydrofarm Phantom 120/240 Ballast, and a Phresh 6"x24" 750cfm filter, but then do I need 750 cfm exact for my inlines or can I be over? Also I was looking into adding C02 into the tent, do you know of any good regulators?

I would run roots organic rather than fox farm. For the filter the 750 means the max it can flow so unless your 6inch fan is pulling more than that then its bad. I strongly suggest an 8" fan though with a 1000 watt. You will be able to run the tent much cooler and put the light closer to the plants which equals MORE WEED! I have a 8" fan and the raptor hood with insulated ducting and a 600 watt bulb and I can put the reflector 10 inches away from the plant and no signs of too much heat. I dont care what you have to do to make a 8" work, just do it. I heard great things about the air pots so good there. I have no idea about ballast but that everyone runs the lumatec and likes them. I dont know if its better or not. As far as the custom hood your hydro shop has I would stay away from that stuff. Get trusted name brand products. A lot of hydro shops are filled with crazy people and they want to sell you everything and they have some weird ideas about how to grow. Id ask on here before you buy anything for real. What have you bought so far?
