Day 23

Water day. I know the soil is supposed to keep the baby fed for 4 weeks, so i'm going to start with a small amount of Grow Big now. I've mixed up 1 gallon of distilled water with 1tsp cal-mag and 1/4tsp grow big.

This gallon should last me about 7-10 days, watering every 2 days. I might actually pour 1/4 gallon water in the drip tray tonight and let the pot soak it up from the bottom. I've avoided watering directly on the stem, focusing on the outer edge of the pot to try and promote some good root growth. I've been watering this girl about 10x less than I did my bag seed grow also, experimenting so to speak. I've yet to see any signs of the plant being stressed or unhealthy.

Day 24

Already found a few sets of white pistils! Amazing that this thing can only be about 4'' tall and it already showing pre flowers! WOW! I'm still afraid to try any LSTing. Afraid to damage her. I might just let this one grow out normal. Next run I will be planting 2 auto beans, so that would give me a chance to try it on one and not risk losing the entire crop.

UPDATE: Just discovered my older plant (45 days flowering bag seed) has hermied on me. So far I just found evidence on the bottom 3 nodes, nothing evident at the top of the plant. I'll have to do some more investigating when lights come back on.

I know this is bad for my GSC girl that is almost 4 weeks old and flowering. I know it's going to run the risk of pollenating her as well, but I really don't have any other option other than killing both plants and starting over. I will let the bag seed finish and if it pollenates my GSC, i'm still going to let her finish too (paid for seed). After both are harvested, I will completely clean the tent and start a new run of 2 auto seeds (no more bag seed).

Day 29

Plant is 12.5'' tall. Not sure how long it will stretch. It was 8'' when it showed pistils, it's stretched 4.5'' in 4 days. I'm hoping for 20-24'' tall max.

Day 35

Five weeks old today! Yesterday I gave her the first feeding of her life. I know the FFOF soil is supposed to last for 4 weeks, so I want to make sure she has enough nutrients to finish.

I stretched it and went 72 hours between waterings. I took 1 gallon distilled water and added 1tsp cal mag, 1/2tsp grow big, 1/2 tsp tiger bloom and 1tsp big bloom. I only gave her 1/5 of a gallon. I'll monitor, if she shows no signs of burn, i'll give her the rest of the gallon in 2 days. If any sign of burn, i'll flush with h2o and revisit my mixture.

*Light was left on for the first 9 hours of dark (moved entire tent/setup last night, must have hit switch on timer). Was gone the entire time so had no idea of knowing until I got home and saw my Temp was 82. So the lights were on for 21 hours straight. I turned it off as soon as I got home. I'll stick to my same schedule and just give them 3 hours of dark today.

I know it's an auto and it shouldn't matter, but I still was a little upset.

My larger photo plant has already hermied on me, so I don't think this really matters for her either.

On a positive note, I've successfully vented my exhaust out the window. Made a world of difference in temperatures overnight.
