First Auto Grow - Only Pistils

Hi all,

First time poster and grower here.

I've got an auto GSC growing in Coco coir atm and am a bit stumped as to what is going on with one of them.

As you can see from the picture, the foliage on here is super dense in the canopy and the colas just seem to have Pistils with no real bud/calyxes forming.

The grow is pretty far along with 1/4 plants harvested and the other 2 ready any day now (looking real good and stinky af!).

For some context, this one with issues was subject to a fair amount of stress in the early stage of flowering from a strong fan blowing on it on the lower leaves (not anymore though) and some minor nute burn. Stress is my main thoughts as to the root of the problem.

Mainly wondering what's going on and whether it's worth keeping her going and harvesting as I can't keep her going much longer on account of moving house soon.

Happy growing and thanks for the help in advance

Hopefully you can delay moving for about a month

Damn, so you reckon the flowerings been delayed on account of stress as yeah it seems pretty far behind all the others.

That excessive nitrogen isn’t helping either (burnt tips) it being an auto not having the right nutrient levels will set you back for sure.

Yeah I'm going to be changing up nutes in the next grow as it's pumping in too much nitrogen during flower even at a low dosage, although I did have some drainage issues too which didn't help (have already learnt so many things for next time during this grow already so I'm looking forward to the next batch).

So I guess my question is from here, do you reckon that she could bud up more this week/next week or should I just cut my losses and focus on the remaining two?

Doesn’t make sense to get rid of it especially if it’s not an inconvenience. I learn something new every day that’s the beauty of being a grower

Thanks lads. Ill give her another week or two and then harvest her regardless as I don't wanna cart a full grown plant to a new place hehe appreciate the help - happy smoking

Hi all - still trying to work out why that one plant is so different compared to my others so I can learn for in my next grow. I've got another pic attached and she's still way behind the others with what looks like only pistils growing and not maturing. In saying that, the buds have swelled in size slightly since the last pics.

Should it be looking like this, this late into flowering? What could be the cause? Is it just delayed on account of the stress? I know she's been burnt with nutes and N and had some windburn on her lower leaves. I just can't find anything on this happening to other people.

Temps are fine in the tent and she's been on a low dose of nutes for a while now.

I admit my grow hasn't been ideal so I'm looking forward to the next one.

Happy smoking :bigjoint:

Nitrogen excess ( dark leaf ) is NO BUENO during flower- it creates issues with flower formation size and development. Excess also can slow the flowering as it is trying to focus on blooming and not leaf or branch making.

PLUS ( first pics ) that is a heavy sativa dominate strain and that alone will run long .

Thanks bud - will definitely be alot more conscious of nutes in future grows. Plus did the old rookie error of measuring the input and not the output for most of the grow.

What would be the cause/issues with the 3-finger leaves? I did notice that and was a bit puzzled. Ill probably do some more googling now anyways as I'm curious af haha.
