First big grow Russian Kush / BC Big Budd hopefully perpetual

Okay so this is my first big grow.
I recently purchased 20 rooted Russian Kush clones and 10 BC Big Budd clones that were not rooted yet.

My grow room is not fully setup yet so Ill start with what I have now and then Ill describe what I hope to have in 2 weeks.

The clones are on an elevated table about 5 ft. tall.

Currently I have my clones under 2 48" shoplights with 2 fluoro tubes in each one.
One cool white and one Gro-Lux bulb in each of the shoplights.
The gro-lux tube is supposedly a blue-red balance for anyone unfamiliar with them.

The shoplights are positioned to the right and left of a 3 socket circular tracklighting fixture that I already have in my spare bedroom.
I have 3 CFLs in the 3 sockets of that fixture.
I also have a lamp with a CFL positioned on one side of the table close to the russian kush clones.

On the other side I have the 10 BC Big Budd clones in my Aztec humidity dome.

Right now I have no exhaust setup.
The clones are in a full bedroom I haven't partitioned anything off yet so exhaust is not a huge issue just yet.

I have a regular house fan rotating around them just for air circulation.
I have a sensor from a thermostat close to the plants to monitor the temp. and humidity.
There is a cool mist humidifier in the room I plug it in now and then when I need to adjust humidity.
------------------------

Now I also have another shop light with 3 bulbs but it needs to be wired and I'm a shitty electrician haha.
This weekend I will be purchasing and setting up a 1000w Metal Halide bulb that will be in an air cooled tube ballast.

Not long after that I will be purchasing a 1000w HPS bulb that will also been in an air cooled tube ballast.

My plan is to have a 3 stage grow room.
1 for clones.
Another for my girls in their veg stage and my mother plants.
And of course the 3rd for the flowering stage.

Of course going from my current setup (a table and some lights) to a fully operational, 3 stage perpetual grow room is going to be a lot of work :]
Along with the MH bulb I will be picking up some other supplies to start work on setting up the partitions and what not as well as an LED board and my exhaust/intake equipment.

Now obviously my hope is to be somewhat self sufficient and be able to pull a harvest every 4 weeks or so by keeping my own mother plants and rooting my own clones so that once I clear out space in the flower room I can fill it with plants waiting in my veg room.
---------------------

Okay so I think I explained all the setup I have planned.
The russian kush have been rooted for a little over a week and are looking beautiful.

Sadly the BC Big Budds were sort of thrust upon me without much warning so I didn't have a crucial piece of equipment, a PH tester.
As a result I've had some problems with yellowing of leaves and lost at least 1 of the 10 so far.
The leaves on all but one have some yellowing, mostly the big fan leaves, the new growth on 8 of them seems fine.

Also at the time I did not have the humidity dome so they were in the room with the others which run about 60-70% humidity.
Humidity in the dome usually runs from 85-95%

Since then I have gotten a hold of a good PH tester and they seem to be stabilized.
My good friend suggested I may want to abandon the idea of flowering them right away and use the survivors as mother plants.

The only nutrients I am giving them so far is 3 drops of SuperThrive mixed in with their water.
Im hoping to hold them back from stretching until I get my MH bulb once I have that all setup Ill start with my nute schedule.
I will be using DNF base nutes 2-part formula.

I actually have some pics on my camera but I can't find my damn USB cable lol.
It's just the generic cable so i should be able to borrow one today or tomorrow and get some pics up for everybody :]

Any comments, questions, or friendly suggestions are more than welcome.
This is the first grow that I have attempted with more than 5 plants and I plan for it to be a lot more sophisticated than my previous grows so I could use all the help I can get.

Thanks for reading folks :]

Got a cable for my camera so here are a few pics I took 3 days ago.
And 2 that I took yesterday.

The first 2 show my light setup.
The track lighting actually has 3 60 watt replacement CFLs but at the time I took the picture there was only one.

The next 3 pics are my russian kush clones.
The following 6 are my 10 BC big budd clones.
Here you can see the yellowing of the leaves and 2 shots of the clone that isn't going to make it.

The last 2 are pics I took yesterday trying to show the secondary leaves(whats the technical name for those?).

Ive also noticed some brown spots on a few of the leaves but I haven't gotten any pictures of them yet.
Once I have time Ill take a couple shots of them and see if you guys can help diagnose the problem.
Ive never had issues with bugs in my house before but I think that's what's causing it.

So I was wondering if anyone has experience with LEDs used for growing?
I'm getting an LED board with my Metal Halide this weekend because a friend recommended it just wondering if anyone can give me info on the benefits it will provide my plants with.

Also now that I have pictures of my abused BC Big Budd clones... does anyone have any guesses as to why they are yellowing? I am thinking its because I was foliar feeding/watering without checking the PH of my tap water.
Once I got my PH tester my tap water is about a 7.0 on the PH scale before I adjusted it.

And is it a good idea to use those for mother plants now that I have abused them a bit? or do you think I should still try to flower them?

Yellowing of the lower leaves in clones is perfectly normal. The plant is using the energy from that leaf to grow it's roots and new stem growth. They will wither away to nothing and die. That's normal. misting with 7.0 shouldn't hurt you it's when you get above 7 or under 6.5 you may start seeing problems. You should try for 6.8 on the water your putting in the soil. Looks good so far.....

Okay so here are a few pictures of my girls.

More importantly I got some pics of the brown spots on their leaves that I'm concerned about.
The temperature never gets higher than 27C.
I have been trying to keep the humidity high.

Also in some of these pics I was trying to get the strange white substance I was noticing on some of the leaves.
I've been told that can be left by some bugs but it was only on leaves that were healthy.
Could it maybe residue left from water that landed on the leaves and then dried?
You can see it best in the 6th pic.

Okay so I got a big surprise for anyone watching but unfortunately I wont be home for another 8 hours or so to get pics.
I did have a good friend take a look at my girls though... He thinks the brown spots are just from using water that's too alkaline for those first 4 days I didn't have a PH tester. And he agrees with the others here that the white substance is some kind of fungus but it shouldn't be too serious if I clean the plants and lower my humidity.

I'll have some nice pics up for everyone ASAP.

When I use my areo cloner it takes several weeks for the clones to have a root system good enough for soil so as they sit in all that water and it evaporates it leaves it's salt residur. I just wipe it ff with my fingers.

Okay it could be something like that because I'm using my tap water which comes directly from a lake.
Ill just have to keep an eye on it. I'm gonna go home tonight and clean all the plants off and clean my grow room up a bit more now that I have things setup a little more permanently.

Okay so I just got a delivery :]

I decided to grab a 1000w HPS instead of the MH I had planned on getting.
Just on the off chance something comes up and I'm not able to buy another bulb in 2-3 weeks when I switch to flowering.

So I nailed a 2x4 up to make an extra wall in the spare bedroom.
Then I stapled mylar to the roof and walls around this 2x4.

Right now the exhaust is coming out of the grow area and into the little workspace I created with the mylar partition and the intake is coming from that area as well.
I had planned to cut a hole in my closet floor and send the exhaust down there but I had no tools to cut the hole.
It turns out its not getting too hot anyway so I am in no rush to move the exhaust until we get a little closer to flower and I will consider my options.

I've transplanted all my girls including the BC Big Budd clones which seem to be loving the new 1000w HPS.
Ive got mylar on 2 of the 3 real walls. the 3rd only has a bit of mylar covering the window because the garbage bags I hung up there to block the light from the fluorescents were not cutting it for the 1000w HPS :P

The HPS is suspended by ropes led through a serious or hooks and tied to the 2x4 I used to make the frame.
This way I just untie the rope to adjust the height of the light.
My ballast is outside the grow area in the work area so minimize heat in the grow area.
I gave them a dose of water with just superthrive for the transplant but once they dry out I will be giving them their first dose of the 2 part DNF nutes.

Got a few pics of the setup and a couple of the beautiful girls but I was in a rush so I didnt get many close ones.
Once I have some more time and they have grown a bit more Ill get you guys some up close and personal shots :]

1st pic: Ballast
2nd pic: Exhaust
3rd Intake
4th Closet where I may eventually route exhaust
5th 1000w HPS with reflector
6th the girls!!! :]
7th a close up
8th the girls again
9th window with mylar covering
10th thermometer

So now that I've got my 1000w HPS I'm looking at my 29 girls (I finally gave up ont hat BC big budd clone and threw it in the fire) and I'm thinking I don't have enough light for them once they start flowering.

My buddy suggested my fluorescents would be more useful in a veg room once start taking clones but I'm concerned that the bigger girls will definitely need more light than that.

Can anyone offer me some perspective? Ive never used a 1000w before so Im not sure how much penetration Ill get with 29 plants.

Aslo I was planning to top them soon and use the tops for clones but now with the light issue nagging in the back of my head I'm thinking I might be better off not topping them.

Anyone have some input?
I could always buy more shop lights for side lighting but will it make that much of a difference for the investment.
Shoplight with the approproate bulbs is about $30
