here are some pics........ is there any hope for it?... i hope so!!!
I'm not an expert, i just started growing myself and they look okay to me. those cfl lights you have can be pretty close to the plants if it doesn't get too hot, i have similar lights. What are you growing them in? it looks like wood chips

it some organic soil.... that has.... chicken manure.. oyster shell, lime... and some other ingredients to help balance the ph..... thanks for letting me know she'lll be okay... such relief... and a nice lil crack up at what you said.. but im in a closet thats 1.5' x 2.6' x 4.6' i moved the lights a little higher... it gets pretty hot in this rooom so i'm gonna be leaving the door cracked open... i'll keep posting updates and take a look at your grow!!! Thank you all and Good luck!

Hey man, I like your set up. I rigged this one up a few weeks ago when i decided to start growing. let me know what u guys think. ;-)
I really like what you did with the hamper!! lol i never would of thought of that.. is that just for veg? are you gonna move them to something bigger? you wont get very much height in that will yah? so very minimal yield.

I'm not too sure actually. This is my first "project" build and grow, so I am not sure what the outcome or yield will be. People have been saying it's too small and hot and the plants will stay small, but it seems to be working for these little plants so far. As for how long I will keep them in there..... pretty much as long as I can. I think I'll need another set up for flowering though. This box should be able to fit my plants comfortably for a long time because I can adjust the height of the plants to the lights as they grow, the width of the plants may be an issue though. I will keep posting pics as the grow progresses to keep everyone updated.:joint:

Ur plants are stretched it seems.. Maybe its just the angle of the photo.. but I think they are stretched.. Bury it till the leaves are an inch away from the dirt, then move your lights (or raise the pots) closer.. Should solve ur stretch problem bro..

Those look great! I have my lights even closer to my plants and doesn't seem to burn them as long as you keep a fan on them to keep them cool. Benefits of CFL's i suppose.

cool! Your plants look like mine did last week, once they start growing bigger it's so rewarding to see their progress. I hope i get some females too! do you know how to tell what sex theay are? I know u can make them show earlier with light cycle changes or something, but i don't want to stress my plants. I've read a few things about it, but I'm still not 100% and I don't want any dirty boys around my girls ;)

i read that you tell sex at about after a week into flowering.. and that the females have little white hairs that grow (pistils) and males do not...

I also had a question.. for any one who has any advice would be greatly appreciated... my leaves i notice that only two of the plants are starting to point up ward... is this a sign of them being too hot? under watering? or just them being healthy reaching for light... the lights are about 2-3 inches away and its about 82 degrees (F) in there... i felt like that was a little warm so i got rid of the 42w 2700k bulb and the 14 w 2700k bulb... they were just putting out too much heat.. and now it's about 76 degrees (f).... my ph is about a 7 .... i Have attached a few pics!! Thank you ahead of time!

Thanks for the info on female plants! Those plants look fine to me, they could just be reaching to the lights, but I'm not an expert. Overwatering causes my leaves to droop down more, so that shouldn't be a problem. As for heat, my thermometer reads around 90*F most of the time which is pretty high, but they seem to be doing okay, so your temperature shouldn't be a problem either. Can't wait to see more pictures. cheers.:bigjoint:

them leaves pointing upward is normal, they are just reaching for the light, if they would of been overwatered, or heat stressed the leaves would of been drooping, yellowing, and curling on the edges with a burned tip. ( i know how this look's cuz i did it to my girls lol)

Don't worry for now, they look damn good , and soon they will go in overdrive, growing like crazy all over the place ;)

the sexing part is quite eassy, just have them 12 light and 12 full darkness, uninteruptable darkness with no light leaks and it wil show it's sex in 6 to 14-15 day's, the more mature the plant get's, the quicker it show's sex. if you force it to flower when she is still a seedling, or in it's first week of veg it will take up to 13-14 day's.

but when it happen's , you can't miss it, it's very simple : either you get some small tear drop shaped with 2 white hair's pointing upward thing's, or you get ball's, wich at first are also pointed upward's and then they droop and start cracking.

be verry careful with them balls cuz if they burst prematurely you can say good by sensemilia .

Hope this helped :)

Peace !:joint:

thank you for the info!!!! i really can't wait until they kick it into overdrive.. i feel like im bahind or something.. but they are only 13 days old and thats from the day i germinated them. also one of my plants that's growing a little bit faster has yellowish/ brown tips... is it from over watering? or under watering.. or to much heat..? it's about 80 degrees (f) I THERRE and I do have a constant fan on them... any advice...

here are a few pics...im really worried about the yellow tips... its only on one of the plants.... any suggestions? it cant be a nute burn.. i haven't added any nutes... i only water when the soil is dry.... i stick me finger down into the soil and feel no moisture.... the ph is 7... and it's about 80 degrees in there.....

For the moment i think you're doing just fine with the cfl's. The temp's got to be lowered a little , to 75(when the leaves are turning upward's like that, it's usualy too hot in there, not hot enough to make them droop but still ... too hot). as for the yellowing i could be nute burn ... i don't really like the soil you're using, might just have a bit too much nute's in it. flush it and it should sort out . ohh and lower the ph to 6.4.

Event if that hps is only 150w, it will throw ton's of heat ... so redo the ventilation sistem before adding it .

peace!

so i added the light.. and redid my ventilation and the temp is at a stable 78(f)... on one of the plants that seemed to be further behind i added a lil mg plant food... 24-8-16 at 1/4 str... just to see if it's beneficial at all... ill post pics of the new setup soon... thanks for the advice ssmokeeen.. im going to get some foxfarm oceanforest and transplant them into a 2.5 gallon container.. but as for the soil i have right now.. it has no added nutes.. so i did not flush it...
