those ratings are the nutrient ratings.

Miracle gro always adds a slight bit to any soil they have. Its very miniscule for that ratio. It should help for first few weeks and just water it only then start nutrients.

Read up on NPK ratings for soils. Thats your nutrients rating/levels. Then youll look into nutrients with ratings that suit buds.

youll want slightly higher N for vegging and slightly higher P for flowering.

Try replacing tin foil with plain white paper or something else. tin foil can leave burn marks (heat spots) on ur babys! when they start to look healthy try the LST method. good luck

Read the bottle for the feeding schedule. Failing that, check the website.

For sure, you'll get a bunch of inexperienced growers trying to hold your hand through your first grow. If you want valid help from anyone with experience, you're going to have to start doing some research into growing.

Google your nutes. Check the website. Find the feeding schedule. Follow it. If you still have questions about nutes, make them specific. "Tell me how to use these new nutes I bought" isn't going to cut the mustard.

The better versed you are at cultivating, the more successful the outcome will be. There are so many grows similar to yours on these forums, no doubt. Roll a joint, light it, and start reading though some of them. You'll be amazed at how many of your questions you can answer yourself with a little digging. Plus people will respond better to the effort you're displaying in attempting to learn things on your own, rather than total helplessness.

Report back with the feeding schedule you found.

I have been doing a lot of research but this nutrients part is so confusing.I went on the website and found the feeding schedule buts still kind of confusing because this is my first grow. I have spent HOURS AFTER HOURS researching all kinds of things to help with my grow. But on this nutrient thing is just not clicking. Im not sure if i just add the 1/2 teaspoon to a gallon of water and feed my plants on their regular schedule (3-5 days). or is it more to it than just that.

So I had a quick look on the website's feeding schedule, and if I were using those nutes, I would start my giving them half of the recommended dosage.

In this case, it seems like they suggest 1/2 tsp per gallon of water per feeding (every few days). I would go with no more than 1/4 tsp per gal for the first couple feedings.

There are distinct visual differences between an under fed/nuted plant and and over fed plant. Start with a 1/2 strength dose of nutes, keep your eye on the tips on the fan leaves for the next few days. Post daily pics (close-ups) of your plant(s), and members here will suggest increasing or decreasing your nutrient dosages.

It's way better to under feed your plants, slowly increasing the dosage, rather than over feed them and risk burning and shock. The most common error for beginner growers (we've all done it!) is over-feeding the plant.
