did a thread on general mj growing but didnt get much response so have a look here ;-)

About a month ago I started a closet grow (my first grow). I used 250W 6400K cfl for vegetation and a 300W 2700K cfl for flowering, and pc fans. I turned the lights 12/12 about 4 days ago.The soil is organic and the only "additive" I've used is pieces of banana skin in the soil...
here is a pic...

those in the square pots are random seeds i've kept from good weed. they are about 1 month old. those in the round pots are about 20 days old and its a skunk strain top44.

do they look ok?
did I do right to turn the lights 12/12 at this stage?I want to determine sex.
what nutrients should I buy?
do the big ones look like its from the same strain?
the one on the right I fimmed it 10 days ago . doesn't it look weird compared to the others?
feel free to post any recomendations

lamp on temp:28-29 C
humidity: around 35%
lamp off temp:23C
humidity: around 40%

looking great...I'd suggest getting a small humidifier...weed in this stage does well at about 65-75% humidity...the lower the humidity the slower the growth will be :)

But other than that..look good :D

It just needs to heal and start bushing out...how much vertical space do you have to work with?

so your going to bud, then switch back? you have 5 plants under 300 watts, how tall you going to grow them? I just tryed that method and i have a plant almost a month and still in budding. Almost a month under 20 hours of light a day.. i will never do that again.

I read on this site, cant remember where, its been a coulple years to take 2 clones off each plant, dont mess with them till its time to bud, then just bud. if they male, kill it and clone(s). if female, you have one or two clones and in business. that is what i did 2 years ago and it worked fine. Have a perpetual budding room, 4x8 with 1k watts of 750 cfl and 250 led and getting great results with lots less heat. 1k of cfls still produce lots of heat!

Good luck, looks like you have a plan and i hope you get juicy plumb nugs!

because I dont have much space I cant have separate rooms for veg and flowering. I hope I will have 2 out of 5 females. then I will keep those females flowering and take a couple of clones to put them in my small pc growbox (all of them where in the pc growbox as seedlings) and veg them till they make good roots. I dont care very much about quantity. All I want is quality pot for my personal use. If I manage to get 80g I will be very pleased.
thanx for the feedback guys, it means a lot

question#1: If I place those in the small pots in bigger ones now in flowering , will it stress them and turn them in hermies? the seeds were regular not feminized.

queston#2: do they look normal for 10th day of flowering? i have the timer 11h and 50 mins on and 12h 10mins off. and i am pretty sure that there's no light leaking in while the lamp is off.

1st grow many questions...

I dont really know what I'm doing right or wrong mate.. I try not to overwater them and i've got good soil mix(I want to believe so..). the lamp sits a little lower than the photo. try to lower the lamp as close as possible, so the plants get more light.. and finally I think the fans are a must because they circulate the CO2 around the leaves and makes the stems stronger.. how old are your plants?

Because they got that tall, I would recommend some side lighting (and some LST, next time). They look nice and healthy, but I still would get something for flowering.
