I and currently in week 2 of veg and plants are looking very well and healthy. I have bought into a co op out west and plan on going full scale very soon! my closet dimensions are 2' D 3'W 8'H. I just reall would like some suggestions on top production methods for my avaliable space. I currently have 9 in 5" rounds running them 18&6 under a 150w hps horizonal bulb. i have a 24" tower fan oscitating and a 2' box fan blowing down cooling the lighting and such. i will have and post pictures a little later today they are sleeping at the moment. i have also made my own carbon fillter. the humidity lvls are holding at about 55 my major problem seems to be everyones as well holding the temp at 75. i hold a steady 85-90 degrees. the plants do seem to be affected that i can see but i am sure they woulld produce much better at more comfortablle temps. ANY Suggestions? especially on small descret cooling ?

Have the box fan blow up or away from the light instead of towards. Better to pull the heat away than push cooler air onto the lights, as you do so cooler air will come in and replace it. You can also do fine with temps in the 80s but 90 is typically too much, just make sure they can get cool while the light is off. Mid 70s or some people even go lower.

Should try topping it once or twice and then doing LST, tie it down with twist ties or twine and you can move the plants around still.

"my friend" has a closet the same dimensions. if you have attic space, I would recommend getting an aircooled hood, and venting into the attic. It would only require a 6" hole into the attic which can always be patched later, as well as the reflector/fan. That will allow you to get the light almost touching, and temps still 75-80. The reflector can be bought for about $70 from HTG supply. He uses the scrog method, and running one plant (under a 400 watt), he pulled 5.5 zips his first time, and is now running two plants in the same area.

Thanks for replys!! Better picks are incoming I am a little skepical about venting at the moment though this is a hidden grow area and tring to keep its security threats at a minimum. i have thought of building a inner door and putting my inline and out line there. that way i can close the outer door if needed. im am open to any and alll advise and thanks for all support and suggestions thus far!
