first closet grow with UFO

I have read a lot of this post and decided that I would put in my 2 cents. I originally bought the 45-Watt Panel LED and my seedlings lasted about 2 days and then wilted. I then went and bought the 100-Watt version using cree LED's and have had great success. My light is about 15 inches from my plants in a bubbleponics system and they are doing great. Based on my experience LED's do work but they are not as effective as HID's in spreading the light. My $600 light only has a big enough footprint to grow about 6 plants. Most people would say this is a waste but it depends on your needs. I needed a light that put of very little heat and LEDS accomplish that. High Times did a comparison a while back with the UFO and HIDS. I may be wrong but I believe it took a week longer on the LEDS but the LED grow produced more resin. Anyways hope this helps.

Nice bro, you should deffinitly notice a differance. Once they get used to the light, you can play with the height on it to get it just right for them. Watch your temps, and keep them watered i'm sure they will drink more.

You probably hate getting advice from me but you should take the whole rootball and all out of the old pot. I water first to get it wet and it helps stick together better.

Then you put soil in the bottom of the new pot until the old rootball is level with the top of the new pot. Then you fill in the sides with new soil and you are done except for giving it a decent watering.

An alternative would be to do the same steps except to cut out the bottom of the old pot and bury it that way, old pot and all.

I prefer the first method, if you need further help let me know.

so i have found some ball growth beginning on two more of the plants so i moved one outside and left the other to develop alittle more...i thought u could theorotically keep a plant in veg for a year if not more...if so why would they be showing sex especially if the light schedule hasnt changed???

You can keep them in veg as long as you want, being able to sex them in VEG is normal, in fact that is how I do it.

Flowering is just a way to try and force sex earlier than normal.

Like I've said and got ridiculed, don't flower until you are ready, all you are doing is screwing up the growth of your plant trying to force it back and forth.

Being able to SEX in VEG is Normal.

Good Luck
