Best thing you can try to do, is NOT freak out over any issue they go through. Take it like the commercial "set it and forget it", if your temps are not in 90-100's they dont need watered nearly as often as you think, wait till soil is totally dry, then saturate. This will probably take 2-4 days, after water, unless your heat in insane. Instead of trying to correct def problems as a newbie, often times i have found it easier to simply re-pot in nut dense soil and hope for the best. Just try to Ph your water, for soil its normally 6.0-7.0 unless you have your soil way out of whack, then youll want to test run off, if its diffrent, + or - your water until your run off is 6-7. I wish you the best amigo.

With weed, unlike many other plants, its almost better to neglect them, than it is to try and fix something only experience will teach you.

LOL. In my past experiences, flush with 3x water and wait 48 hours. lol. Kinda like a reset button. But i agree on the watering. To help when i first started growing, i took a third pot, filled it up to the brim in just soil and let it set next to my plants. when my plants felt like the pot with just dry soil, i watered. I dont need it now, but when i planted my first time, it was the way to remember what they felt like wet and dry.
