I smoke the whole time we golf I don't drink anymore now that I can smoke my meds.
But theres nothing that can help my game.....

When I smoke I swing more like a pendulum, evenly through the whole swing back and forwards. When I drink I honestly try to just throttle the damn thing.

Actualy in that picture the ball is down in one of the sand traps, I have no idea why I'm smiling cept having fun with my son that day.

Congratulations my friend - you earned it no doubt.
One of these days I'll get around to doing that - Just not quite yet, but I do envy you.

Grats! Way things are for me, I'll likely be working until I am unable to. But I really hope I am still able to enjoy not working when the time comes and not have serious health issues. But financially I just can't afford not to work

I have a few pointers for you:

1. The novelty will wear off. Develop a new hobby. Woodworking is always nice.
2. Fight the urge to "reorganize the house." You are bored. You will drive your partner insane. Don't do it. If you have the uncontrollable urge to reorganize? Start with the garage.
3. Try to keep a strict sleep schedule. The temptation is to sleep in and be a total bum. Don't. If fucks up your body's natural cycle. You get irritable. Voila! You're a grouchy old man.
4. Take advantage of all the senior discounts you can get. You earned those fuckers!
5. Stretch things out. Most retirees get the urge to travel and burn themselves out the first couple of years into retirement.

The most important rule? You are home now. Your home dynamic has changed. You WILL drive your partner up the wall. Keep yourself occupied. Stay strong. :p

Good advise Carne.
My house needs attention and all kinds of fixing plus I'll have my grow to mess with and I live were the fishing is
well known.
And the VFW is always looking for volunteers, maybe a Service Officer or some thing.
