first DWC grow

Well its growing compared to the last pic,seams pretty dark green.Id say your at the upper limit of ppm.I saw the guitar amp so thats why I asked.My old room was much bigger I use to play in there.Was always the warmest spot in my house.

Oh it’s definitely growing, I guess where the soil pots are in full on veg mode there making the dwc look slow, but once I get the dwc dialled In I’m sure it will be a different story

and yeah I haven’t played in a while, guitars are in the shed amp is just there being stored...
Should have a strum really

honestly looks like a few things... maybe phosphorous deficiency.. I'd likely be checking PH first tho.
I found this post over on ICMAG that has a pretty good breakdown of all the deficiency's/toxicity's

wondering wether to rip her out and start fresh, with a clone that isnt revegging

you reckon I should see her out or start fresh?

and last time I checked ph was around 5.6, new growth looks ok now just bottom is a bit funky
 
So. Revamped the whole room, cleaned it all up a bit got a new veg tent will post some pics in a bit

done a Rez change
Added 20ml root guard
15ml a
15ml b
5 ml calmag
Ppm was sitting at 385 (tap water is something like 220)
Ph 5

she’s under a 250watt hps vegging our will put up pics in abit

I’ve noticed little floaty bits in the res water, is this ok?

plant is growing vigorously and roots look healthy, I think we’re day 6 or 7 from potting into the dwc

noticed a small bit of black funky looking stuff on a small part of the roots, smells a bit algaey
Will post a pic, anything to worry about?

Ya that shit is a problem,rinse the roots with clean water.Wash out your bucket and sterile your air stone.Make sure no light is getting in!Clear air hose ??

Ok I’ll get that done now
How would you sterile the air stone? Boiling water? And no the air hose is black the hose on the side to check the water level is a clear blue
 
Ive always hated airstones,just a place for bad shit to grow.A piece of plastic hose with holes I understand works but you have to weigh it down so ive never tried.
 
I would make a cover for your lid,shades the whole pail then.Say 30~40mm bigger then your lid.Some wrap the whole pail and lid.The HPS light warms the black pail.
