First ever grow. Aerogarden and green noob :)

Been lurking these forums for a few days now and reading up on everyones AG Journals. Finally decided to go ahead and give it a go. Just waiting for everything to be delivered, but could someone advise me on anything I've missed:

Aerogarden 7
Water pump and air stone
PH meter
PH Up and Down
24hr mechanical plug
Figure 8 plug
Surge protected extension lead

I haven't bought extra lighting yet, waiting for pay day (any suggestions?)

Seeds :
Feminised Auto Blueberry
Feminised Auto Lemon Skunk

Should I stick to the AG nutes or fork out for something else (forxfarm etc)?

Hopefully the regulars will drop by and help me out...

P.S will a 125w Blue and Red CFL lamp suffice for extra lighting? (125 red and 125 blue)

Hey Thursdaybag; Take it VERY easy with the Nutes in this case.

The BlueBerry Auto will be VERY sensitive to Nutes. If you have a full AeroGarden, I would start with 1/4 of the starter tabs for the 1st week, 2nd = 1/2, 3rd= 1/2 Tsp (Other nute *Stop using the AG nutes now* per gallon of Distilled water.
the 4th week through to harvest, use 3/4 Tsp of Nutes for every gallon of distilled water. (get it from the Grocery store).

You will need a timer. Yes, 24 hours will work. But like the sensitivity to nutrients, the Auto's grow best with a 20/4 schedule. (others may chime in on their own preference.)

*Finally: 2 weeks before harvesting stop with the Nutes and prep your 1 gallon of Distilled water with 1 TSP of un-sulphered Molasses. (I use it in my Aerogarden and I've not had a problem with messy Roots, etc...etc... It keeps itself clean! :> ) *

Thanks Krozone! I'm thinking of just growing 2 at a time (1 at either end of the AG, I guess thats what you meant by full?) Will the amount of nutes be the same?

Yes, being that the AG res is shared. I would be more conservative with feeding due to the BlueBerry! Follow what I laid out for you Re; Nutes and you'll be good to go!

My Aerogarden hasn't come with tablets, but with liquid 8ml sachets, (will upload a photo tomorrow) I take it the fractions still apply to these.

Also, any tips for preparing the pre-seeded packets?
