First ever grow attempt

8 pounds? I think that looks more like 10-15 pounds man!! Free bud is always beautiful no matter how much it is, and there is alot of pride that comes with smokin your own shit. Good show man, next one will be even better!!

Tomorrow will start week 10. In the last week, many of the yellowing leaves are turning purple! I have a feeling that this plant is going to be the dankness. Still seeing a lot of clear trichs, and new pistils are still coming! The top main cola has grown kind of weird. It is very leafy and it looks like it's growing a lot of small colas in a big cluster rather than one big top. It did get slightly burnt at one point, and has been growing sideways.

The first plant is curing nicely it seems, the hay smell is starting to go away. Still no official weight but 10g is about right I think

:hump:I did the deed yesterday. She was looking about 1/3 amber and the rest of the trichs were all very cloudy. It smells amazing, not skunky but very sweet. I've got it hanging to dry now. How much does it look like it will yield?

I smoked some of the other plant, and it is a good smoke. Not too much taste, but smooth, with a clear headed buzz. 2 hits and you're feeling fine, and 3 gets you pretty lit! Still no official weight haha.

I just want to give a shout out and say thank you RIU! I couldn't of done it without you :hump:

There's the final harvest! I finally got hold of a scale and weighed what I had left from the first plant, and it was almost 5g. I'd say total harvest was 8g..

This plant is looking to be 3/8ths I'd say

I just pulled a batch of brownies out of the oven :hump: Made butter for the first time last night using all of the good trim, some smaller buds and stems

Nice man, looks good. I made brownies too with all my trimmings from the widow (made them with oil), I ate 2 of them yesterday and I ended up drooling on the fuckin couch, still dont feel normal :) That shit shrinks ALOT when properly dried and cured, I ended up with slightly over an ounce from my 1 plant, it looked like 2 ounces before it was all cured. I didnt try to grow any bag seed but I will say that white widow I ordered was well worth the money, it is unbelievable, got 6 seedlings going now for round 2. Enjoy the buds man, good grow!!

IMGP3500.jpgSo I attempted making hash for the first time. I've had kief collecting in jars for months, and decided to try the iso method. I got a small amount that tasted absolutely amazing. I then iso'd a few grams of nug with two washes of iso, and then kief'ed the bud when it dried through a tea strainer. Here is the result! I think there's 7 or 8 varieties in there, including my grow (;

I received an Aerogarden for Christmas, and happened to have two nice seeds from some dankness that I found, and now I have just started flowering this week.

After reading up on here, I went to the store and picked up an airpump/stone, a mylar emergency blanket and some CFL's. I have a 26w and a 42w in addition to the AG lights. I had another table lamp with a CFL but that broke the other day haha.



The fourth picture u can see balls that make !!!!!
They've really taken off since the additions, and one has officially sprouted white hairs all over the place! :hump:
 Still waiting for the other one to show its sex.
I'm a poor student, so the AG nutes will have to do for now. There is some minor nute burn on one or two leaves, but nothing too bad.

They are currently sharing their home with some well trimmed basil and chives haha.

Here's my progress so far! I'd say they're about 5 or 6 weeks. On the 3rd or 4th day of flowering.

Wow man i've been checking your pics out and they look great! I had some doubts about gender then i saw your photos. It helped a lot thankx. Just hope mine get as good-looking as yours. Thumbs up!!
