First ever grow. (medicinal)

Strains: 3xDiablo O.G. from clone
3xBubba O.G. from clone as well.
Space: 5x5x7'9" custom built room with Mylar walls ceiling and floor.
Buckets: 6x 15 gallon
Median: FFOF
Light: 1000 watt hps
Exhaust: 4" can fan
Odor control: 4" Phresh charcoal filter
Nutrients: Fox farm trio Grow big, Big Bloom, Tiger Bloom. Cal-Mag, Silica Blast, Botanicare Prow Grow and Prow Bloom. I also foliar with Nytrozyme.

So I started these babies with 2x65 watt cfls. I bought 2x 200watt cfls to put in the room with the 1000 watt hps but every time I try to turn one of them on my power goes out. If anyone has any ideas for that problem that does not call for electrical work please let me know.

The pics are from 1 day after transplant and 1 day after FIM topping. Temps are running great right now at 73 Degrees F with Humidity at 40-50%. I have the light exactly 36" away from the tops of the plants. Do you think i could get it closer since my temps are doing ok?


That first pic if of a 65watt Cfl compared to a 200 watt CFL i put a ph tester for sizing scale.

just watered. cal-mag and silica blast. 10 gallons for all 6 plants ph 6.4. Might have been to much for one of them. There is a lot of water in the catch tray. should I get rid of the excess?

Still water in the drip tray but the babies are looking good. do I drain the water or Judy let it sit. Will it cause mold?

ok one plants leaves are getting little yellow spots. I noticed that I probably had my light to close last night even though it was not hot. I moved the 1000 watt hps back up to 24" from the canopy top. Some of the plant leaves are clawing, not bad almost looks like they are over or under watered. Any ideas?

Ok i need help now guys. I dont know if this is an infestation, my light is burning them, or chemical burn. Please help based on pics.
See how the leaves almost look eaten? HELP??? Im dumbfounded.

This all started when i switched from my cfl's to the 1000 watt hps. It was about a foot away from them and is now 3 feet away.when i had it set up at 1 foot away from I also had a fan blowing in between the light and the canopy. There was no excess heat and it seemed pretty cool under the light.

Ok i pulled the 1000 watt hps. I put my 2x 200 watt cfl bulbs in tonight and in hopes that they will get rid of the problem. If anyone can tell me if they have seen leaves do that before please let me know what it is as i would love to put the HPS back in the room because im sure im not getting the best light coverage with these bulbs. Pics tomorrow night of new set up.

Budy of mine told me that the damage was due to folier problems. I have stopped the follier and have kept the 200 watt CFL's going. I had planed to veg them till Jan 12th but i might actually veg them till they are 2' tall. That might be till the 19th or so. We shall see how growth goes. If i can get a inch a day im stillin need of 11-12" more. Anyways here is some updated pics.012.jpg014.jpg013.jpg011.jpg

Just got done feeding the babies. A couple have grown 2 inches in the last day or two. Goal is still to reach the 24" mark before switching to 12/12, if i can make it. Im so eager to get them flowering but i know the longer i wait the bigger the yield. They are really enjoying the 15 gallon buckets and roots appear to be booming based on growth. I also did away with the 200 watt cfls's these lights are so annoying always flickering. I think there is something wrong with them. I'm going to send them back. 1000 watt hps back in action. I'll post some new pics in the next couple of days. Advice is allways appreciated.

Looks good man, should be some big ass plants with those 15 gallon buckets. At least 5 ft tall if you are gonna veg until 2ft.

5'?? My max height i can go is probably 4' Should i start them on flower sooner? Maybe 18"? I dont think i will be able to accomodate them with the light and fixtures being that close to the top of the plants. Thoughts on how much these plants will grow during flower with 15 gallon pots.

Yeah man, your plants will grow 2 times or more there size the first few weeks of flowering. You could top and lst starting now. That will help with the height restrictions, not to mention you have PLENTY of root space, and you could continue to veg as long as you were planning on if you did that. Check out my grow in my sig, that's what I did.

From what I have read it helps with taste, size, weight, and just overall plant health. I'm just now trying it for the first time. There is a lot of info out there on it. If you want, I can post a link to some detailed info on it for you.

Yeah please do. I just ordered some Organic molases too. =) 30 mins till the lights turn on for the first night of flower =) Im excited

Yeah I made sure to get unsulpherd. I also ordered my co2 regulator. I can't wait to Ty that pumping too. When should I feed them molasses. First flower feeding?
