First ever grow

Dgotredeyez +rep Np man. Still a ways to go. Sorry its been a long day so no pics tonight, but ill try and post em tomorrow

DaGreenThumb +rep Shultz succulent feed 2-7-7 Ive been going a little heavy on it as im not afraid of slight nute burn, and its low concentration. Also Ive been adding molasses to my water, it apparently helps the soil... Check out the pics in the last post, you can see the bottle.

very true keeps ur root zone healthy the sugars feed beneficial Bactria

ps after u told me what nutes i remembered see that pics lol

Very nice sir. Looks great! Cant wait to see mine start to bud ;p. Sativa's are fun. How tall is she now?
+rep It depends on if you mean on the main stem or the branches. The main stem is probably a foot and a half horizontal, and the highest branches are about 2 feet vertical. Im enjoying this one very much, i cant wait till my light switches on in an hour, lol. I love how most ppl say not to grow sativas indoors, but its very easy to tame one, and i think is more rewarding. Ill be growing another sativa next, but havnt picked one yet.

I'm growing saliva and indica... I'm going to see which has the least problems during the veg. Stage n clone it 6 times so I can have the best of my seeds!!! I can't really tell the difference as far as grow rate !!!

New pics. So the first question i have is when do i stop feeding nutes? My plant is sucking the leaves dry and droppin em like wildfire. I lost about 20 yesterday. I know this is normal, since my plant is taking the nutes that have been stored up in them, but is this an kind of indication of when to stop feeding nutes or molasses? Also, how do i know when im ready to harvest? Whats the indication that its done? I'm sure i'm getting close, but i'm also sure i have another few weeks at least. Any help is appreciated.

Once about 80% of those white hairs are orangish/brown or amber !!! At about 50% I start giving it straight water to start cleaning leftover nutes and chemicals out the plant, 3 days before harvesting to be sure, cut off lights and leave it in the dark so she can make a last ditch effort to fill buds w/ thc & filter chemicals !!!

That's just what I do... You can try a day or 2 n see if it works I just do 3 to be sure!!! The continuous lack of light confuses the plant into thinking the seasons over and focuses the last of it's energy on bud production before it dies (but u'll have to harvest, clip, cure before she crokes over) that way you'll be sure she's ready and you'll get a little xtra thc out of the stalk (and where ever else it may be hiding) into the buds!!!
