First grow 1/2 scrog hydro 1/2 regular hydo

Hey guys im coming up on the end of the first month of vegging. What do you guys think

Those were taken today which is nearing week 4 i can post pictures from the last 3 weeks if you guys want

ninjadam- whats the other details on your set up? lights, temp, nutes etc. a more detailed post about your set up will allow all of us to get a better idea of how your doing your grow. looks good and healthy with lots of growth on each plant.

its a small room so when i leave the door almost all the way closed with the fan it can sometimes get kind of hot but never over 90ish. I try to keep the ph levels around 5-6.5 but unfortunitly i feel like my ph tester isn't very accurate because its not an electric one. The nutes are general hydroponic brand Micro + Bloom (loucas formula) + a little bit of the general hydroponic brand grow solution. In the pictures above they are about 4 weeks old. I have a fan in the door way but it does not point directly at the plants and should i be pointing it in the room towards the buckets or out as an exhaust fan, i've been switching off.

i like how your using the lucas formula, ive recently been looking into it and it seems to be perfect for a lot of growers. what is your lighting system? looks either to be cfl or mh. the temps seem to be good but you may want to watch them and make sure they keep under 90F for your best results. your watching the PH which is another good thing, i dont even check mine haha. the fan situation is tough to choose and its more of the growers choice, you more need to watch if theres a temp change when the fan is set up differently. if there is alot of heat building up then it is probably better to have it exhausting out. if the fan keeps the lights cool and moves air around the plants when being set up facing them, then that might be the right choice. its always a good idea to have both an intake and exhaust if you can. what strain(s)?

thats fine as long as you figure sex and they dont herm. from watching others with scrogs, i would say that you need to either switch to flower or move the screen up. for best results you would want the plant below the screen or barely touching so it can stretch in flower, which is when you start weaving it in and out or just re-place the branch under the screen. you might want to find out the wattage of your set up if you care to have any expectation for weight. keep up the good work.

Sorry i didnt post pics from first day of flowering but here they are. I can see the effects of flowering streatch every day on the left hand bucket. I also should mention i took the scrog off of the back plant on the right hand side because the 2 main colas were looking so nice i just had to let them free. I am slightly puzzled about the sex, on each node there are little hairs but theres just 2 of them and they dont seem to be moving, and frankly i think they have been there since vegging so im not sure if those are pistons or if they are just some hairs? Thanks for following my grow littlegrower i really apretiate the help as a first time grower. i cant wait to roll some big L's

i know some of these pics are blurry / the flash makes it so you cant see the hairs i am talking about at all =/

hey ninjadam, your plants continue to look healthy and have grown a nice bit in the first few days of flower. the scrog side looks like you changed the screen and it seems to be falling down which may not be very beneficial. your nodes are staggered which means they have reached their sexual maturity and should be showing hairs or pollen sacs. im pretty sure pistols are the hairs on the plant but they have little things which look like hairs with out the actual hair coming out as well. hopefully they turn out female for the most part so you can roll up a couple FAT Ls haha! keep up the good work and ill be waiting for your next update.

I have a quick question LG, When do most strains begin making the start of buds if they are female? my guess is about like 4 weeks into flowering how accurate am i?

well it depends on what they are. if its pure indica it can start in the second week, if its hybrid it will produce the beginning hairs in about the end of week two and the beginning of week three, and a sativa i would say more in the later part of week three. those are all from watching plants, nothing scientific about it haha. just speculation.

i was wrong about sex, they still havnt shown any signs i thought they were hairs it looks just like really think growths around every node but not hairs

actually i really cant tell the one in the back right kinda looks male but im going to give it another day or two, there two small to take decent pics of it. and i think both of scrog plants are female the 2 big ones have still shown no signs

4/5 females 3/4 remaining girls are making very decent looking buds it is officially the start of the third week as of today. i will post pics tomarrow. The biggest branch which is located right under the blulb is looking and selling amazing and getting better everday. There are nodes coming out of every fan leaf beginning which are incresing in size also on the daily. finally the start of buds is here! oh also i added 2 Florecent bulbs for the scrog half because i discovered the reason why they are so much smaller is because my HPS light is not as long as the fixture its in and gives more light to the left bucket then the right one still both get alot but i think thats also why the main branch on the back left bucket is getting so big each day. i am predicting easily over a quarter from that one branch although its a blind guess.
