My flower room:
Area: 7 x 8 x 8 = 448 cubic feet
Light: 1000W HPS Digital Ballast, large air-cooled "Big Kahuna" reflector, cooled by my exhaust fan. I run my lights from 10pm to 10 am because its hot and I wanna use as less energy as possible.
Strains: TGA Subcool's Jack the Ripper in 2.6 gal pot, Seedsman Seeds White Widow in 2.6 gal pot, Emerald Triangle Seeds Emerald Jack in 2.6 gal pot, 2x "the purps" in 5 gal smart pots. JTR was in veg for 4 months nearly, the rest a little over 3 months. The emerald jack/white widow are from seed the rest are clones. 5 plants total. Plants have been at 12/12 for less than 3 days, so this is before the stretch.
Ventilation: One 300 CFM duct intake fan, and a small 6,000 BTU A/c provide my intake. My exhaust is a 590 CFM GrowBright high velocity fan. I exhaust through the room's ceiling into my garage. At first I only had the 300cfm intake fan running when the light was on, because during the day this caused my room to intake 100 degree garage air forcing my A/C to do more work. Humidity was still 65% with it running today.
I'm growing in a framed, sealed room in a garage. The room is insulated all around with R-13 insulation and 6mil thick plastic as a vapor barrier. I use dry wall and silver foam reflective insulation as walls. I live in Michigan and thought I could run this room without an A/C. I was very wrong, maybe if the entire garage was insulated and well vented it'd be possible.
I used a white garage floor paint that's mildew resistant, same with the paint on my dry wall.
Problems and concerns:
I have thrips and other soft-bodied insects that live on my plants and soil, I've used sticky traps throughout veg to control them. I released 300 ladybugs in my garden this morning. Overkill? Hope not.
Yesterday and today I have humidity readings over 60%, should I get a better intake fan? There are 440cfm models instead of my 300cfm, or will I need a dehumidifier?
Air flow kind of sucks, I'm looking for a mountable fan with the performance of an Air king for the price of a Growbright. The Lasko fan in my video is weakk. I'll let you guys know what I come up with, can you tell me the best place to mount it in my room? Check the vid and let me know!

Just an FYI, I knew nothing about growing marijuana in February.
Tell me what you want me to take better pics of, for clearer views. I'll take pics of the outside showing you the intake and elbow I've used tonight. Also I made the same poor-mans carbon filter as I did on my HPS for my intake, so I intake clean air.
Opinions, constructive criticism and general insight is all I ask
