So if you live in a really dry hot area where do i dry. Not gonna do it inside i have a four yr. old running around lol.i have like a storage room attached in the back but its not a/ced, it has an exhaust fan but no a/c but it will stay dark at least but temps still reach the low 100's like 103-106 max and lows have been in low 80's to high 70's.also i was think i wouldn't need to dry it as long if i do it in that room yeah maybe 3-4 days? Help. . Lol i think i have 2-3 weeks left.

No grow room its outside. I was surprised these things made it. Cause they grew threw an hot az summer. I threw out like thirty seeds in the beginning of march out of a bag of Mexican shwang and like fifteen plants started growing. Now im down to three because all the rest were males, but haven't had any heat issues or nothing even with the constant115-120 degree weather throughout summer here. Now its cooling of a little(thank god for this little bit of rain today) but highs are usually in the low hundreds still. Wyats why i was asking though. These thing are tough though.nice big frosty buds on em though. I've been on forums everywhere and it looks like there days will do it in that outside storage room just gotta check them everyday i guess.i don't have a an open closet or nothing

Great job on your first grow L24kers! I'm surprised at how frosted you got those buds your first time around! Keep it up ...
As for drying, I like to hang for atleast a couple days and then start going to town on the trimming. If you're going thru a smaller harvest, it'd prob be best to just let it hang out for 3-5 days and then go straight to jarring from there, being sure to open the lids and release excess moisture for atleast a few hours a day, some prefer as much as 8 hrs. If you're doing a larger qty, it's easier to trim the buds up starting day 2-3 and then just toss them in brown paper bags as you go. Leave the nugs in the paper bags for a day or two, gently sifting thru here & there to make sure there's no moisture buildup as they continue to sweat. Then you can go with jars or some larger tubs (i like saving my empty 5lb protein shake tubs, they work great).

Hey i also saw that guy ganjaluver or whatever his name is asking about drying a while back because he ruined two batches of ak. Said he dried it to much and it smelt like hay. So he needs to get off his high horse and relied this is why this forum is here.also hey when you gonna put up some good licks of the goodies? Lol
No one is writing in their journals the last couple of days what gives?lol Also if someone knows what's these tiny tiny pinhead sized black eggs by the hundreds are under my leaves and let me know how to get rid of them it would be awesome.i only have two weeks left before i harvest the plant that has them the worst,wondering if i should go ahead and take her down now cause i can't afford pretty much any sprays or loss of buds because i have been out of work for the last six months(hopefully by the end of the week ill be a proud whole foods employee woo hoo). Any help is much appreciated.

They're trouble----->Spider mites...With 2 weeks to go till harvest, you don't have to worry too much. You can't use sprays and Neem and pretty much anything else right now but you could constantly spray them with jets of cold water in a sprayer. When you're done with your harvest, disinfect your grow before starting a new one.
Ozut thanks for the help. Its a bit of a stealth grow outside. Just worried about them hopping to the next plant,because i have three five footers that look to be two to three weeks apart in harvest times.also anyone know any sites to teach me or show me how to trim? And L24ker that is a nice looking come up for real wish i lived close to take a toke of that lol. Nice going i hope my first harvest looks half that good.

wow you are super desperate or something i think you might need a life, yo Lakers you should try just making straight hash with your next harvest, hash is always fun to mess around with
major rep, i one day hope to start my own harvest, done all the research just not the right time yet.......
