i like eshine's lights, but the deal is they ship from china. so im stuck on their lights and hydrogrowled. although they look the same, they price sure aint! lol

Awesome man, glad I could be a help! I've heard too many horror stories about HGL to ever buy from them. I'll stick with Pro-grow :D

Based on the two lights, the Pro-Grow is brighter (and I tested it with a crappy light meter). I've noticed faster growth since I switched the BS out for the PG on my big girl...

Maybe I am "too sold"... but compared to the BS which has done a marvelous job btw, the pro grow has far superior quality and brightness. It has higher actual wattage output as well...

Yeah man, actually at first it wasn't even 280 watts....the 2 blackstars are about 170ish watts combined.

Now they're under the pro-grow which is 160 watts alone... and the blackstar 180 which is about 110-117 watts actual draw.

very nice man , i have a 290w spectra a magnum 357 and a 120w chinese model in my 4x4 tent im a sog guy though i got em over 18 girls :D , what kinda nutes / soil mix ya using?

nice, we need more threads with independent growers like yourself. ive seen countess threads of led grows with great success, and yet HPS users are still hating? Ill take my LED organiclly grown herb over any hyrdroponic chemical HPS herb anyday!

Good deal on the LED lighting. I have been pondering those for awhile now myself. Looks like they have wrked great for you brotha. I'm subbed. Cant wait to see them finished.
