first grow - 400W Barney's Farm LSD - comments welcome

great question... I'm thinking about a week from today. in two days it will be exactly 8 weeks. I'll judge it on a day by day basis at this point

Had to cut down one lady cause I saw a couple of nanners. Chopped the skunk because it was ready, and I wanted to cut a bit early for that super heady high. I probably could have waited a few days on her, but the smoke is AMAZING, so I'm happy. I got just a sick amount of sugar leaves off her, gonna make some nice hash soon, and maybe iso hash oil out of the fans and stems

What a sweet sweet day; everyone's done drying, they're all in jars and curing.
Final dry weight = 339 g out of 5 plants under one 400W. Less a few grams I smoked. Ok less a lot of grams I've smoked already.
SMOKE REPORT:
The Barney's farm LSD is really an amazing plant - I had three of them in the closet and while all obviously similar, each one came out incredibly different. Plant #1, a hermie taken at exactly 8 weeks, is an incredibly light and heady smoke. Hints of sweet basil and lavender mixed with the lemony-cotton candy smell all the LSDs share. The high is a perfect wake and bake - rolls off clear, too - very little burnout. Probably a result of the early harvest (LSD is supposed to go 9-10 weeks). Yield was a little under two ounces.
Plant #2 grew funny. It had an incredibly high leaf to bud ratio, and only filled out in the last week or two before harvest. It was by far the tallest, reaching over 5'. The height compensated for the low density and I ended up yielding well over two ounces. The most intricately subtle smell of all of them - like diesel and kiwi fruit or apple. A heavy, dream-like high. The most "psychedelic" of all of the plants. Wonderful, but not great for activities. Of any kind.
Plant #3 my personal favorite. The champ. The FATTEST fucking colas. This baby was topped, and some of her side branches had bigger nugs than my other plants' colas. The smell is out of this world, like a baseball bat made out of cotton candy and strawberries. The high is a perfect blend of lifted and stoned, very clear, loving and euphoric. Yield was nearly four ounces!!!
DNA genetics LA Woman - A delicate, refined smoke. With spiciness in the flavor like sage and pine and lilacs. The most hash-like high, an amazing sleep aid, full body stone, couch lock, and incredibly pain-killer. I think it may be my personal favorite.
G13 labs Skunk #1 - Despite being the lowest yielder she was my highest yielder of hash trim, crystaling up in day 8 of flowering like white widow. The smell is of potent sour skunk with some light flowery taste. The "highest" high. Causes physical effects almost like being drunk. I have lost my shoes on this weed. Yield was under 2 oz, over one
All in all, I'd HIGHLY recommend the feminized LSD it's almost like getting multiple strains in a bag, and the smoke is some of the best I've ever tasted. People are bud snobs here and the response has been really good.
thinking about doing a white widow / northern lights grow next time, from seed. Gonna stick with soil but may do more LST. The stretch was my biggest enemy for the grow

I've just started 4 Barneys fem LSD (1 didn't make it). It took me weeks to decide between LSD/Vanilla kush/Super Lemon Haze. Today they're about a week old & after reading your thread i'm chuffed to bits all the reading & research paid off & I chose LSD.
Are you keeping a report of a grow using the cuttings you took?? I'd be interested to see how they get on....
Out of the 4 I sucessfully germ'd..... I put 2 in 10L buckets in a 1mx1m tent under a 400w hps to veg for around 4wks then switch along with bluecheese & cheesewreck thats also in there.
The other 2 have been put in a different tent under cfl's to veg along with more bluecheese cuttings for around 6-7wks.
Did i mention.... I cant wait to get these LSD's flowered!!!!
