First Grow! 400w DWC Tent

Whats up everyone, the time has finally come and I started my first grow. Ive been planning on growing for a while now. I bought almost everything about a month ago and was just waiting on the rest to get clones or seeds. Anyways when i went to this new club they gave me a rooted clone so i figured why not set it up. I would also appreciate any tips, suggestions, and constructive criticism you guys might have.

PS: The people at the club didnt label the clone so I dont no what it is. They said they had Blue Dream, Fire OG, Blue Dream/Banana, and Booger. So does anyone know if we will ever be able to find out?

Equipment
1- 400w hps cooltube
1- 2'x4'x5'h mylar grow tent
1- 5 gallon resivors
1- 60 gal dual outlet pump
2- air stones
1- 4 inch fan

Im getting a 4" inline fan and ducting for the cool tube in the next couple days, so im using a 26w and 15w cfl for now. I will also be getting a timer, meter, and anything else you guys might recommend.

Cool setup man. Looks like you got your stuff down..and yeah a timer is nice to have. as for meters you will need a WATER PH meter not soil.. you gota look at the box haha, and also i recomend a PPMs meter HIGHLY for your nutes unless you go organic.. and also a nice a lil rotating fan for when your babies get bigger. Wind makes them stonger! and better air flow going outa your tent. good stuff though going all out i see!!

Thanks bro. I've been waiting a while so I've done a good amount of research haha. But I've seen those electric pen meters. Those cover both? Thanks for the help

Finally set up the hps and inline fan last night. Tell me if it looks all good. I have the fan sucking air through the tube and out the tent. I put the tube 9 to 10 inches about the plant.

Its looking good, but I'd shorten the ducting that hangs out the lamp... a smooth curve is all thats really needed, put the cooltube at the lowest point your going to ever have it and have a slight bend leading up and out... Also try having your cool tube the other way around.. it'll be easier to do a bulb change and the lamp will be cooled better - STELTHY

do reflective materials lower temperatures ?

Too many bends in ducting makes for less airflow. You can increase reduce the amount used. 90 degree angles are not ideal in ducting either.
