First grow, 6 weeks, see pics - need advice,,,,

Hi All,

See pics - first grow - indoors, hydro... plant will be 6 weeks flowering (12/12) this next Wednesday.

Reading the MJ Bible, I'm to look for trichomes, and their color. I'm trying to take pics under magnification (iphone magnifier), and to me... as a newb... it seems like some of my trichomes are turning milky already. My pistils aren't even changing color (to amber) yet and are still fattening up. Is this a camera thing, or - are my plants closer to harvest than I think?

Is it a sativa or indica ?

I do not know. I wish I Did! These came from a treasure trove of seeds I've saved over the years. I just decided to try and grow my own for the first time. That plant is grown from one of the collection.

Ok ur problem might be there. Depending on the strain effects flower time. Indacas normally 8 weeks flowers.
Sativas normaly range from 10-13weeks.

Just keep checking your trichomes once you hsve about 30-50% amber rest milky cut down dont worry about the pistils as much

I should add the trichomes are uo to you as well depending on the sort of high you want.

Not 100% but prett sure the more clear to cloudy u have it is more of a up lifting energetic high
More amber produces more cmd than thc and is more of a couch lock stoned feel.
Used more for medical reasons
