first grow 600 hps week 2 flower

I'm not the post pictures kind of guy but I'm actually getting happy because so far I've had 0 problems and my scrog is starting to take off. I veggd 2 plants for about 45 days then switched them to 12/12 under my scrog screen and ended up having 1 male so I have 1 plant under a big screen. This was more of a first attempt - trial and error type grow to see what I can do to optimize my space / equipment so 1 plant to me is perfect.

I'm at day 15 tell me how I'm doing as a first grow. Personally I think I'm doing a good job. I should have vegd a little longer but I was expecting two females in there :( next time around I want to either put another 600w in there or try to set up a mother station and lower the screen and go 12/12 after 3 weeks veg with more plants under the screen. There's a few tweaks I also need to make before starting my next flowering batch but that's just simple changes in moving the light and fan so its over the middle of the screen instead of near the back of it where you can see in the pictures.

I have to admit - you are giving me inspiration! Sorry to hear about the male but had you not said so, from the top shot I honestly thought it was more than 1 plant. Looks like tight nodes, healthy healthy leaves and the start to an amazing set of buds! Hope you change from a no pic guy, can't wait to see this girl bloom!!

Day 15? You sure? This is how I looked at day 15 and I'm running 1000w in 4x2 with an accelerated hydro system. That must be some soil and some 600w light.

thanks kushsour, I appreciate it. The fans are getting huge man those are 3"x3" squares to give you an idea. (give or take from plant pushing on them) I jumped in head first on this one I just hope I end up in the deep end come harvest lol.

Hornchen - thanks man I appreciate it and yes lol the first picture lookes like to different plants tops but those are just the tops after I topped. Ended up with 2 main colas and just spread them to each side. Also I'm still unsure about keeping updates. Maybe every week or so we will see :P



Lordjin - wow nice plant/s I have a lot to go to catch up with you! And yes she is marked at 16 days from first sign of sex. You should see her growth from yesterday to today, she is still stretching like crazy. I'm using FFOF soil mixed with miracle grow organic with a bunch of perlite in a 5 gal pot. I'm using Tiger Bloom and Big Bloom every other watering at normal feeding. She drinks like crazy I water every other day and you can see her get sad if I wait longer so I just kept the water cycle at every other day.

Well then you're kicking my ass with a 600w and dirt. How dare you? It's the seed. That's a vigorous strain.

I don't think its me! I'm just the supplier of food and light! She is definitely helping me out on my first go. I have 2 cuttings from 1st week of 12/12 trying to root right now.. I pray for roots! I also have NY sour deisel and white widow both fems but I'm waiting until I can get things rolling and get comfortable with cloning before I attempt them.

Yes. Actually I wish to upgrade to all hydro at some point. I was thinking (dreaming:P) of getting two tents, and have 600w MH in one and 600w HPS in another and just switch the bulbs when need be so ill have a perpetual going and also scrog. I'm not too sure exatcly what I want to have, but probably two 5'x4'x7orso' with a flood n drain system to hold 4 plants under a scrog. Would be a tight fit but depending on when I put the screen in I'm sure I can do it. Then use my closet as a drip system clone / mother station.

That would be my goal so to speak. Doutb ill achieve it soon but ill try! Next to do is get another 600watter and a tent!

TToday has been a very good day! I took a look at my clones and they are starting to root!!! :D I'm so happy since I thought they weren't going to make it after this long time without any root stuff! Glad I waited!!





Here I have just some more bag seeds in veg. They are doing good so far.
