we were hoping for a pound per light with 6 lights. but all but one of the romulans died and we had one hermie and pollinate shit so were hoping for like 4 for this run. we have a little less than 2 weeks left

yea thanks man! we ran 8 per light this time. 4 plants per tray in 2 trays per light. this next round were gonna do 4 plants per light in 5 or 7 gal pots

Good shit man, sucks to get hermies my buddy just screwed his last grow. Had two pollinate his whole room. U gonna keep the second round rollin through this thread? Good luck on the weight u should be far enough to get away without developed seed ya? Anyone?

unfortunatly it happened at about week 3 or 4 so there will probably be some pretty far developed seeds. luckly ive only seen seeds on about half the room lol and only where the hermie was is he worst.
I intend to keep this thread going through the next round. i would like to get to the point where we post in it as a daily journal. but only if theres really a lot of interest to keep me motivated to keep posting every day.

Pretty impressive for your first grow... way to jump in :) You may already know this, but I didn't see anything about it anywhere else in the thread, but my advice to new growers is to make sure you check pH and ppm, always.

yea man thanks. we have a tri meter for our res we PH everything to 5.8 but i have no idea what ppm range we should be looking for. we have just followed the house and garden feed chart. usually end up with about 950-1100 ppm but idk if the things still calibrated

Looks like you did well for your first time. Maybe just a little lighter on the nutrients next round as thats probably what the crispy and dying fan leaves is from.

I noticed that over the years I shifted gradually from giving them as much as they could handle (and too much in the beginning a few times as well :)), to giving them just as much as they need without being deficient.

I run a different nutrient line called Cutting Edge, with a couple of Advanced Nutrients additives, and I usually hover around 700-800 ppm, and periodically Ill add fresh water to the reservoir and water them at like 200..so it will prevent salt buildup/burning. It seems like the feed charts for most nutrient companies is on the high side

thanks guys. yea we learned the hard way about the nutes lol. we have started watering them with like a 70% mix instead of full blast.

Hey, Calimebob! I think this is the best 1st grow I've ever seen, kudos for the balls to go all out. IMO, you have a fungus in your grow room, probably leaf spot fungus or LSF. I had it for over six months, and I thought it was everything from ph problems to nutrient deficiency. It affected some strains more than others (really bad on the Trainwreck, but hardly touched the og kush), but it does reduce yield, more than I thought at first. It seems the yellowing is starting in strange, random places on the leaves, and it doesn't seem like 1100 ppm is gonna crisp leave up like that. There are anti-fungal sprays on the market, but they kill good and bad fungus. I was foliar spraying my plants with microbe tea which seemed to make it better, but I am now spraying with Trichoderma Harzianum and I'm almost LSF free. It's important to spray 2 or 3 times per week, and dipping your clones as soon as you cut them has the greatest beneficial effect (Harzianum attacks other fungi and mold aggressively, but is beneficial to your plants). My girls are now taller and greener than ever! I could be wrong, but if you find the problem isn't with your PH or ppm levels, you may want to take this tack. Good luck, I'm subbed...

its been chopped. ill update when we get a final number. nute burn really caught up with us at the end, so we ended up having to pull like a quarter of it before it was completly done. learned a SHITLOAD not to do with this round, cant wait for the next to be ready for flower
