Got three young plants under lights in my closet. The lights are about 5 inchs from the plants. They have been under there about 2 and half weeks. One has really out performed the others, as the pics show. I have noticed yellow spots on the plant, that is growing the best. They are on it's first set of leaves. Any idea of the cause of this?? should I be worried. Solution?? Have been woking some fox farm nutts in the last week or so. Also getting the ph in my water has been a pain in the ass. I have a hydro sysytem, drain to waste. Any advice on watering, mainting ph/ec levels ect.. Also watering periods, right now been watering them myself 3 times a day. Bout to set up a pump with a drip system.
Sorry to be so long winded, just hoping to get some good advice from some more experinced growers.

Nice one guys

Sounds like your over watering. Weed really does not need all that much water. personally i don't do hydroponics i grow naturally indoors and i water about 1 time every 2 or 3 days depending on how dry the soil is.

Ok, have been told with a hydro system the grow medium will not hold the water, hence its hard to over water. Got a feeling it may be a ph issue, or even a case of my nutts not being right.

not sure about nutes in hydro, i've never grown that way. most of us have high ph tap water. i filter my water thru brita pitchers. check ph, and usually it will be on low side(5.5-6.0). then simply add reg aged tap water until you get desired ph. for hydro i think ph is recommended at 5.5-6.0 so right out of pitcher would probably be good depending on your starting ph. it's a great easy way to have purified and ph balanced water.
