First Grow And Box Design

this plant is going to end up being 7 months old by the time its harvested if im lookin at about 6 more weeks. i hope this is some good stuff when its all said and done. here is what i ended up doing. i didn't add the powdered stuff. but i did reread all the dosage on the gh nutrient bottles. it said in the bulking and ripening stage that i was suppose to double the dose. the buds have definatley started gettin some bulk to em so thats what i did. i put the following per gallon:
2tsp Micro
2tsp Bloom
2tsp Liquid KoolBloom
1tsp Cal-Mag
thats double everything but the Cal-mag. And the ph is at 5.8 at the moment. i will check it here an a few hours to make sure it hasnt changed. I also decided to put one of my Ak-47's in dirt. i am goin to do a side by side to see if the hydro is really worth all the work. and if those buds have some serious Growing to do then i am goin to have some big ass buds. Like i said before i was really just hopin to get close to and OZ but if i get more, you won't here me complain about it. thanks for your Help chainseeker

if yall remember i took a pic 3 days ago showing how tall a bud was using a tape. i measure again tonight. and took a picture of the 3 day difference. i will post the one from three days ago also to show the side by side comparrison. the two pics under the red light are the same bud. i was just showing where i started the measure from.

You should look at the feeding schedule online for GH. They recommend twice as much Bloom as Micro in later stages. You might be keeping it in a "growing phase" by the level of nutes you are giving it. By scaling it back, you might trigger it to start finishing and bulking up. Just a thought.

I run a similar feeding schedule, but I am through 8 weeks now and on water only.

It's a bag seed.

Looking good Brandon. You have some nice growth going on there now. Did you start flowering in your box or was she flowering somewhere else first? Maybe you had light leaks before and that is why it is taking so long to flower. It could just be genetics but it didn't seem to do much flower production until recently. Were you using this box all along or did you build it right when you started the journal?

Lucky, the bottle says to add 50 percent more bloom than micro. but i figure since i was using Koolbloom also that i would just add the same about of micro and bloom then the additional Kool Bloom. This is actually the most nutes i have ever given it. I just got a chance to look at it and those leaves are more perky than i have seen them in weeks. those things are reachin for the sky around the bud thats under the ufo. i want to take pics but i think i will just wait till tomorrow. i will add a pic of the nute bottle. and now that you have brought that to my attention i think i will scale back on the micro. really all this time i was thinking 1tsp was full strenghth. that could be part of the screw up and then my ph fluctuations could be it also.

Yep like jebus said. just bagseed. i thought veggin was exciting but this phase is really somethin to watch. the top of the bud under the ufo has split into three different stems that are bloomin more flowers!!! i didn't know they did that

The box was built and being put to use probably 6-8 weeks before i ever started a journal. the only reason i ever started this was because i gave soil plant to Truex to grow and he started post and then my girlfriend talked me into doing the same, so i could keep track of what i was doing. didn't think anyone would actually watch it. and i believe you were the one that pointed out that i may have a light leak and thats when i actually crawled in the box and shut the door to see. the only light was commin from a red light on the powerstrip. i tapped over it. the flowers are litterally growing noticabley over night

wow!!!!!!!!!! that agressive bloom chart is wayyy different from what i am using. that calls for
2tsp micro
4 tsp bloom
1-2 tsp koolbloom
im not using near enough regular bloom fertilizer

yeah, that's why I wanted you to see that chart. I went with the bottle (actually I was measuring wrong anyway, check my grow for details) until this grow. I also added the FloraNectar this grow and not sure how that has helped if any yet. One thing I haven't liked about the Nectar is that it leaves crap floating around in the Res. I originally was gonna use Floralicious Plus, but my local store didn't have it

here are todays pics. also am trying something on clones. I made a very high tech cloning machine and am trying it out. those clones are on day 3. so far so good. inside that hightech cloner (coffee can) i have just regular grow nutes. just an 1/8 of a tsp. i was goofin off before and shoved a clipping into one of the net pots a while back and to my supprise it worked. so i am trying to recreate that. the stems are actually shoved through the net pot and out the side. the stem isn't submerged in water but right above it where the bubbles can spritz them. on the large bud i took a pic (i believe the second one) of the top of it cuz its growwing different than all the others. it was growing nice and tight like the others and all of a sudden its branching out the top.

Hey bud just a heads up. I've heard that called a jack in the box and it's a good sign she's about to hermi on ya. I hope not but i been reading about it lately. Dutch Masters sells something that is supposed to reverse it so maybe you should do a little research on the matter.

i have literally climed in that box and shut the door behind me and looked. on top of that, the box has the bathroom all to itself with the door shut and the lights off. its very strange. i looked the bud over with a flashlight tryin to see every nook and cranny, and didn't see any male parts. the only bud doing it is the one under the ufo. very odd indeed. in fact that bud is actually touching the ufo today. it shot up at least 2 inches. the rest of them looks normal as can be. the plant has drank 3 gallons of water since the nutrient change 3 days ago. also i noticed just awhile ago that alot of the the pistols went from white to orange. The ph is doing great this past week. do you think it may have been all of the ph fluctuations that cause the abnormality. If it does, that sucks. looks like i will just have seedy weed then. i tried to look up jack in the box and couldn't find anything. could you give me a link. I got some good new though. i went by the grow store today and we finally got it figured out what needed to be done on the box. got the plans made up. and here is a couple things he gave me to make sure they fit right. check the fan out. this thing puts mine to shame.

Maybe the UFO is doing it. It's on the same timer as the other light right? Maybe it is just making new growth and it has an unusual way of doing it. This could be completely normal for it. You never know. If it fills in who cares, right?

Hey Brandon, when you pinch the buds a little are they spongy or firm? It just seems like it has been flowering for a while and it looks sparce/airy. I am hopeful that you get some good bud in the end! Pulling for ya

It's kind of a trade off sometimes. Some of the best cannabis I have ever had was very sparse and airy. The yield isn't always the best but the high from those long flowering sativas are ridiculous. I got some blueberry just last week that was like that. Loose buds, nice and fluffy, and the quarter was huge. Although you still end up smoking it just as fast. The high was amazing. My head tingled with a super happy buzz, and while I was totally messed up I could still have really good conversations. It was a great daytime smoke.

i have been lookin for male parts and have seen nothin yet. i will check it out tomorrow. i just got home from building on that box for the past 6 hours. he is really wantn one in his store window this commin week.

i looked at it and it doesn't really say a whole lot other that spray and it reverses. i am going to see if my local store has any tomorrow

Thanks for all the help and trying to point me in the right direction. Like my girlfriend says, im lucky to have a bunch of positive and upbeat people on this site to help me out.
