Hi all,

Documentation on my first DWC and Grow. I will appreciate comments and advises.

The resources dedicated to grow is limited, so I end up doing DIY the reservoir and the lights.

Pumps : old Aquarium
1) Boyu: 4L/Min
2) JAD: 6L/Min

Lights: 9 LED lights tube 20W (18/6 and 24 (1-3 wks)
5--> 7500
3--> 3000
alternated

Reservoir:
6L (translucid) than move to 20L (opaque)

Nute: "all stages"
A) 4-0-0

B) 1-2-7

Feed:

1wk: A+B

2-3wk: 2A+2B

Observation:
1) Hard work to keep PH below 7 in small reservoir.Increase the PH level up when Algae and or Bacteria activity ramp up. 20L reservoir running with attention.

2) Rapid grow before root issues

3) Steady grow 3. Rapid grow 4 -5.

Measures: (cond: μS | TDS and Salt: PPM / PPT | temp: C)

Nice little dwc you got there, i never went below 60L but i can emagine the PH is hard to maintain in such a small container.

So is that 9 x 20w you got her and what strain is it?

My 1st grow and my 1st dwc!

Yes, I had to build my own light device, the price went abusive... increased 30%. This was available on the hardware shop for 1/3 of the price. The issue was find the Kelvin light color to try to cover the full spectrum, he rest of the specs was ok.

The strain is: Master Kush (feminized)

Cheers

Guys would be a good time to flip? Or let it grown bit more?

Cheers,

Now she have 9 inches (23 cm). Will be 1,7ft (47cm), if double.... the space is in the limit... on double grow. She is in the 8th week. My light setup is kind off strange I have top an lateral lights, so I think this why its getting kind of bushy. Considering the grow size and her size now, would be ok to flip her ?
cheers

It's only 9 inches after 8 weeks from germ? I assume you ran into problems somewhere along the way?

I think this reflect her early life in a tiny reservoir...just 6 L or the fact I have lateral lights or both...really don't know. The issue was the bacteria that was kind of solved now using bleach.
She have two main branches both at almost the same height, where the most new foliage is developing.
Cheers

If you are short on space and you think she is healthy then go ahead and flip it... but make sure all your issues are resolved first otherwise it'll affect your overall yield
