My first grow is coming to an end. I think my girls are ready to chop down any day now but I am looking for some input. Are they ready now? A few more days? What do you guys think?

Critical Jack btw. I think i'm at about week 8 of flowering but I lost track to be honest.

Thanks for any input!

I don't think it's ready yet since you still have a lot o white hairs, but you might get a scope and check the trichomes to see if they are clear, cloudy, or amber. That's really the only way to tell.

^^^^^^^^^^ Do NOT chop those bitches yet.

You raised those girls lovingly thus far, they went from skinny adolescents to curvy coeds to mature ladies, now give them some time to become fat, droopy married chicks. You will appreciate the extra weight, on your plants I mean.

Looks like at least a week, possibly two to me. Wait until the hairs redden off and start receding into the bud, then check those trics! Nice looking buds, make sure to post harvest pics and weights. Thanks.

Thanks for the input. Sadly, I was impatient and chopped down the tallest cola this morning. It was probably too early but I am planning to let the rest of the plant mature another week or so, that was I can know for sure when the best time would have been. Its my first grow and still a learning experience, but I am happy with the way they look so far.

Also, chopping that tall cola allowed me to lower my lights. I am using t5s so the lower buds got neglected a bit. I am hoping I can fatten some of them up now. I will be scrogging next time for sure, as I think the flattened canopy can definitely increase my yield (only have 4 small plants expecting maybe 2 oz.)

Can't wait to chop the rest of this thing down and start again!
