feedback welcome, very novice grower.

Using MG soil, won't make that mistake again. Watering as little as possible, watered today after about 6 days. Using a 100w LED with 1300 lumens. Just want a small plant. 2 gallon pot

Indoor bag seed or outdoor? You hoping it's a herm seed or hoping for 50/50 chance? Going to sex it or roll the dice?

As an organic grower who loves quicker wet-dry cycles in order to really oxygenate the roots, I'd encourage you to (in the future) choose a soil mix that drains much better than what you are currently using. If you have to water only once every 6 days, then either your plant is in too big of a pot, or your soil mix retains way too much water (i.e. it doesn't drain well enough).

I'd encourage you to mix your own soil, and use lots of organic rice hulls (instead of perlite) to create airiness...it also has the side effect of adding silicone, which prevents disease.

Never mind the soil, I would plant another 1 or 2 just so you can make sure you get a female or your efforts are wasted. If you don't mind if its a male, then have at it hoss. Good Luck

If it's from outdoor I would toss it anyway. You won't like good weed crossed with hemp even if it's female.

Also Miracle Grow soil is notorious for fungus gnats. I would use some preventative measure like diatomaceous earth, and gnatrol.

As a rule of thumb, never use MG products unless there are litterally no other options. There are alot of good soil and nutes readily available online, if no where locally. When I use to do soil, Id take the fox farms soil and mix in more perilite and some fine mulch to help increase drainage.

Maybe not right now, but at some point you'll need a bigger pot. Every 2 gallon pot Ive ever used got rootbound and needed transplanting. W/ that said, IMO I like 2-3 gallon pots for ebb n flow tables.

You should always use soil that drains quickly and then water so that the water rushes out of the drainage holes. Then you need to let the soil dry out completely before watering again. That's what "watering as little as possible" should mean. It shouldn't mean pouring a little bit of water around the base of the plant (as it appears in your pictures). The reason to do this is because when you water thoroughly through well-draining soil, then the water acts like piston to pull oxygen through the soil and aerate the roots.

What I like to do is to weigh the pots with the soil in them before I transplant the plants. I take note of the weight and then I transplant the plant into that pot and water it in. It's not necessary to weigh the wet-weight, but just hold off on watering again until the pots return to their dry weight. That way, there's no guessing. I have gotten very good results by using this technique. I grow in a small tent and when the plants are in flower, it's like a jungle in there. I can't afford to be overwatering in a small space! Oh, and LOTS of air movement to dry the pots out, too!

I'm growing in 3 gallon garden pots now and they weigh about 8 lbs dry. A 5 gallon weighs about 12 lbs dry

My first grow I used miracle grow too. And it did just fine to tell you the truth it was one of my best. It was a Dinafem Roadrunner auto and matured super fast. Like 57 days and I didn't weigh, but Maybe a couple of Os. I used their ferts too. lol you might do just fine.

Might want to think about hempy next and get some real 3 part nutes. Seems maybe easier. I even use MG perlite and vermiculite and it's still good after maybe 5 grows. Flush well before you use it tho.

Look at Maxigro/Maxibloom for nutes. Same stuff as flora 3 part, but 1 part and you don't pay for water. IMHO easier and cheaper with the same results from the same company.

Thanks for the tips. Not sure if outdoor or indoor bag seed, came from a dispensary so possibly indoor?

Most likely a herm seed then. Good chance it will be female, just watch out it may try to herm on you.
Cool I'll look out for that. She (hopefully) looks nice today, leafs all perked out as opposed to droopy the other day. I'll post progress pics on this thread
