Probably true! but the more i used to look the more i used to second guess myself, and try to correct problems that didn't exist . In my defense, same as a lot of new people on this site, its hard to rd all the "pros" getting foot tall plants in a week, when we are bumbling around overwatering and stuff and get the same size plant in 5 weeks. I'm happy to say though, the plants are incredible now as you guys should see by the end of today.

Trippy - CONFIRMED GIRL. and ill get a good pic of all her oddities.
Double Gum 1 was confirmed male, I waited for the first sign of balls...he got chopped this morning. I think I would have felt bad but when you see missy you will understand i didnt have the room for him anyways. He was my biggest unknown. Trippy and missy are both bigger than him lol.

I could still do with another male, i have 2 unknowns in there right now and if one is a male i think my 400W will be fine. If all are female I dont really know what to do. I have a few options here.

Put all under 400w and all will suffer slightly.

Get another 400w just to finish them off.

Make a cfl rig and keep missy and trippy under 400w, rest under cfls...of course the only one that will make the most of my plants is the buying of another 400w.

My qustion is, will another 400w make more than $200 worth of difference. Thats what it costs for light ballast and reflector.

I switched to bloomnutes today. Im also using potash. And boost star still also.
I will include nute details along with pics today.

Depending exactly how far along into flower you are you might have another option, Prot. If my plants are getting crowded I prune them pretty good. You will notice that what makes the plants wide is the long bottom branches. If you remove a few, say the bottom 1/3 or 1/4 of the plant then you will be leaving only the shorter top branches. This will do a few things for you. First it will make each plant's footprint (floorspace the plant takes up) a lot smaller. It will also allow a lot more light to any lower buds that you do keep. And the best part is that by removing the lower budsites, which would have been too far away from the light to get big anyway, you can concentrate the growth energy towards the top and get huge colas. Believe me it is better to thin out the branches than have a dense dark jungle. Buds don't grow in the dark. So in case you do end up with it being a bit crowded just remember that only budsites which have the best access to light are worth keeping.

Flowering for 6 days at that point, a few days longer now lol..

That weird stem is trippy man! Thats what she did to herself, the triploid trait is only showing on shoots on the smaller fork. Shes a weird one that trippy.

Nute line is ISN nutrients, locally made and seems great.

I am looking forward to missy being ready...hopefully about a month to go...lol

I have another girl confirmed...only my haze is left unknown now.

All females now, 4 girls going on to the next stage like a gameshow lol

That's gotta be my favorite part other than watchin them bud up n get all swollen, lol. Watching them stretch out into the bush that they'll be for the rest of their lives is something amazing to watch from beginning to end. Do you plan on doing anything special to them during the stretch or are you gonna just let them go wild? Either way, your girls look beefy enough to turn into somethin pretty beautiful dude.

Looks really good bro. Frosting up well. Just watch the tippy tips of the leaves. If they turn yellow or white then you need to back off a little on nutes. But they're looking great right now. Good job.

If you hold a piece of cardboard or something over the plant to completely block the HPS light and then use the flash on your camera it will make for awesome pics.

Thanks for both those tips mared, and i have just the piece of cardboard, and ill do that tomorrow! and im taking it very easy on nutes for this round, with what ive learned from this grow i know for a fact if i went another round i would blow myself away with how fast they grow and all.

So heres my nutes and ph tester. Im not using the DM Nutes, except for reverse when i needed it earlier, and obviously penetrator to make reverse work.

The isn nutes are awesome, $5 more expensive than the dm, but i cant argue with results...plus dm is not for soil grows.
